The room was perfect, the location was right in the middle of the historic district, the food was authentic and the staff were all client focused. For example, the owner/manager was very responsive and provided a solution to address a concern that we had. Highly recommended hotel that feels like you are a guest at a relative's mansion.

Fantastic location in centre of historic town, and very safe to walk about in the evening, which is an issue as a few blocks away from the centre it can be sketchy. The hotel itself was a sight of its own, as it is the former home of a sugar trade businessman, and it has beautiful pieces of that era while being beautifully restored. The breakfast in the terrace were delicious. The staff were very helpful, friendly and accommodating. The only place we would stay in Salvador.

We booked a room with two single beds and ended up with a spacious room on the third floor with a beautiful view of the Praça de Sè. Great location, just a minute away from Pelourinho. You can walk all around pelourinho and there are good restaurants nearby. The hotel looks brand new and it was very clean too. Breakfast was great as well, changing a little everyday.

Had a very pleasant stay....the people working at the hotel were very nice. it is an older property and the rooms are small, but very clean and well worth the money.Nice breakfast which is included in a wonderful breakfast room .the hotel is located on the edge of the old town but safety could be a concern in the evening.
