Prada Marfa Tours and Activities

This hotel is advertised as having a bar at the pool. We specifically chose this hotel for that reason. The bar did not open until after 3 pm on Fri and Sunday. There was no menu, drink selections were limited and many of the drinks did not taste good. I would definitely pack a cooler or stick with beer. Do not plan on having frozen drinks or food. The charges for the drinks were completely outrageous. There are several taxes and fees tacked on and gratuity is included which we were not aware of. On Saturday there was a man at the pool pestering all of the woman. At some point a group of young women went and complained. A man that was setting up for the hotel dj party moved him to the bar because he could not get him to leave and then the bartender chased him into the holiday inn. It was like no one wanted to deal with him but it definitely killed the vibe. The dj party started at 4. If I was a family staying at this hotel I would have been furious. There were people smoking pot, parts of women's bodies I didn't need to see, grossly inappropriate dancing on items and each other. The next day there were cigarette butts, lime pieces and bits of peoples weaves all around the pool and hair in the pool. It was disgusting The room itself was just okay. The pleather headboard was all scratched up, stains on the carpet. The ice and vending machines on our floor didn't work.

Great hotel accommodations that feels more like the comforts of home and or our European stays, especially in the suites. Always superior in hospitality and service. Restaurants provide us excellent service especially for our anniversary and the food and preparations are great quality. We could have used more housekeeping, since they didn’t seem to turn down our beds at night or provide us with more towels. We would have liked to have had lean washcloths and towels and robes for the other half of our stay.
