Would definitely recommend
Only stayed the one night but staff were lovely, friendly and accommodating, breakfast was yummy! 😁 Only thing is I would suggest is signage for b&b maybe at bottom of steps up to b&b took me a wee while to find it, however that's only a minor thing and would definitely come back to stay again, thank you very much 😁

A modernized late 1800s house within easy walking distance of the beach and small downtown area. Our hostess was very personable and helpful, b'fast was cooked to order within the traditional Irish breakfast items (eg - eggs, bacon, tomatoes) and the B & B was immaculate with very recently updated bathrooms and bedrooms. There is free street parking in front of the house.

Two nights in Portstewart.
Eileen, the proprietor at Wanderin’ Heights, is an amazing host. She is never too busy to answer a question or to chat. Her cooked breakfasts are wonderful! We found her very endearing and will not hesitate to stay there again.

B&B in Portstewart
The B&B was well located however: Room was tiny and any one taller than 5 ft risked brain injury on low beams Instructions on check in with the need to phone ahead were wrong A Sherpa would be useful to help get up the front external stairs and the internal stairs Breakfast does not commence until 8:30, too late for getting an early start to see the sights Limited amenities in the room The ensuite must have set some record for how tiny a space can be allowed for this purpose.

No room for a cot
We booked for a night with our 16 month old son and had requested a cot in the room. When we arrived we were told that the owner had gone back to Expedia to inform them that this room was not large enough for a cot and they didn't have one available. This information was never passed on to us and we arrived without knowing. Thankfully we had a travel cot with us but the room was barely able to accommodate it. The owner of the B and B was lovely and very apologetic but stressed that she had informed Expedia that this room was not suitable. It was disappointing that this information was not passed on to us. Overall the B and B was very clean and tidy and the breakfast was really nice. The owner was lovely and couldn't do enough for us.

A real home from home
This is a traditional family B&B where we received a warm and friendly welcome. Room was comfortable and had all we required for a one night stay. Service at breakfast was all you could ask for and food did not disappoint. All in all a real home from home and will definitely visit again.

Excellent!!!! So hospitable!!
We stayed one evening in Derry with Thomas. He and his daughter are superb hosts! Our room was clean and comfortable. The breakfast was wonderful! Thomas is a master historian and gave us a thorough history of Derry and Ireland. This really helped us to see the city and sites with appreciative eyes. Wonderful experience!!

Fantastic location and value!
The lodging is well appointed, quiet and very clean. Breakfast was delicious with great coffee. Location is excellent - a short walk from the waterfront and downtown shops, cafes and restaurants of charming Portstewart. Convenient drive to all of the main Coastal Causeway sights (e.g., Giant's Causeway, Dunluce Castle, Bushmills Distillery, and more). We enjoyed a morning run from the B&B along the Ulster Way Coastal Path ~1.5 miles to the beautiful Portstewart Strand beach park. All in all, this is a lovely B&B where we would not hesitate to stay again! *Note that there is a flight of stairs from the street to the entrance and then most rooms are 1-2 floors up, so this would not be the best choice if you aren't comfortable carrying your luggage up stairs.

Incredible stay!
Such a lovely, inviting place to stay. The hostess could not have been nicer. The room was warm and cozy, the breakfast was so good and we would stay there again in a heartbeat. I asked about the music that was being played in the dining room and she was kind enough to bring the cd cover to me so I could take a photo to find it when I got home. She also has an incredible collection of Belleek china and when I admired a particular piece she told me where I could find it in town. The only down side is I would say that if you have trouble climbing stairs this could be a bit of a problem. There are many steps from where you park your car to the front door. Other than that, it was perfect.

Cozy stay in a nice 1880's built B&B.
Eileen was a very accommodating host. She told us of all the options for dining and things to do in the area. She was amazing when I asked her if someone could help me with our luggage, as there are so many stairs leading to the house and to the room. She was right on it to volunteer her husband who promptly and cordially took our luggage to our room. And when we left she promptly had one of the maids take the luggage to our car. Our bedroom was small but adequate and the bed was comfortable. The bathroom also was small but the shower was nice. Eileen explained the history of the amazing house and how she raised her family there. The area is beautiful and we had a great dinner at one of the many local (within comfortable walking distance) restaurants. The breakfast was wonderfully prepared by Eileen and was delicious. Overall a very nice stay.
