"Rooms spacious. Washrooms are huge and recently renovated. Food was delicious with friendly and knowledgeable staff. Views from dining room are exceptional. Hotel does smell a bit older, not surprisingly given its history. Remote location if someone is planning to spend a prolonged time."

Room was clean. Shower excellent. Bed very comfortable. Fabulous view from our room. We ate at the restaurant both nights-because food was very good. Staff friendly and working well together. Breakfast excellent/efficient and we were the only ones at 730 am. Fish and chips and lambs Shepard’s pie best so far. Biryani was definitely exceptional.

This is a lovely inn on a hilltop overlooking the water. Everything is very well maintained, the food fantastic, and the room had everything we needed. What makes it stand out is the staff- they were welcoming, professional, kind and friendly- going over and above to make sure we had everything we needed. Recommendations for meals and outings were always presented. Thanks for a wonderful stay!
