At best, this is a 4-star hotel pretending to be 5-star while delivering 3-star service.
At check-in, the bellhop placed our luggage on a cart and disappeared, I had to unload the suitcases from the cart in the lobby.
During our 3-night/4-day stay, the snack-bar at the club lounge was only stocked once (Club-access if you are frequent traveler with IHG). Quite disappointing.
The chairs in the room are so narrow, my wife couldn't fit in them. Comfort should be form over function, we're not at an art gallery here.
The front-desk restaurant recommendations were atrocious rip-offs. Literally the worst (and most expensive) meal we had during our 8-day stay in Portugal was recommended by the front desk (5Ocean restaurant, don't go).
