It was a place to lay my head and sleep. That’s all I needed I guess. The shower is like a half glass wall so cool air was coming in and water was misting onto the floor. There was no microwave or mini fridge for any leftovers I brought back. The hallways were pretty dark, no vending machines or ice on my floor. Not sure if there were any on other floors. I expected more, so I was disappointed. But rooms were clean and staff were pretty friendly so I have no complaints there.

Everything about this place was wonderful except the actual walls of the rooms. Could hear everything my neighbors were doing. Other than that it was great! The staff behind the counter and at the bar were awesome and super helpful. The restaurant inside the hotel was great. Would maybe stay again but for a shorter time due to the walls of the rooms.

It would be great if the made the elevator the kind that you need a key card to use. I don’t like how anyone from the bar that is downstairs, can just go up to any room. Feels a little unsafe given the area. Besides that, pretty good stay. Small rooms but ample bathrooms/shower with waterfall showers.

Staff was friendly and helpful. The rooms are small but we had everything we needed. I like staying at the Moxy since we normally like to venture out for meals. The downtown Portland area is beautiful but we found a lot of the shops that appeared open online were actually closed.

I have to pay $65 for a safe parking handled by valet staff. That is half the price of accommodation. I shall look into hotels out there at the $190 - $210 range as that is what it sums up too, that offers secure parking. Then I get a larger room/ accommodation.

The Moxy is designed to make guests feel like they are young and cool. This allows a very minimalist approach to furnishings and amenities. The elevator mechanism made a moaning noise all night, and the "Stash Cabinet", which is where you must go on each floor if you'd like some toothpaste or other usual in-room furnishing had a loud, clanging door and was almost barren. No coffee in room, you have to go to the desk to get it. Good location and decent price. I might stay there again, but not out of any kind of excitement about it.

It can be loud in the morning but the vibe was awesome for young adults. The bar in the lobby area was awesome. Rooms are clean and modern. Comfortable for night outs and fun!

The hotel was fine and the staff was very attentive but Portland itself is nearly reaching rock bottom with the drug infested streets. Its uncomfortable to watch communities paralyzed by drugs, and even more uncomfortable to see them do it in your face. Sadly, I couldn't stay for longer than 24 hours in the city due to the mentioned conditions of the city itself. Lastly, I must add that the noise from the rooms is awful. We barely got any sleep at all.

Its close to many things and the property is well kept and the staff positive and accommodating. Where the hotel falls short is the room. If you have a single queen room be prepared for some light noise -- most of these rooms are situated by the elevator and you will hear minor squeaks and shuttling of it as people use it. And the semi-thin walls. Which you can hear some light bangs and if quiet enough your neighbor's iPhone alarm. For vampires, you will be bathed in light and die by the sun beaming hard in your room. (There are no blackout curtains) The clothing hooks are a nice tough, great to hang just about anything. If only they provided hangers with clips to hold pants though... The bathroom toilet paper is placed at the most non-ergonomic angle possible. The Bathroom itself is very tight spaced, along with the faucet counter. The shower door -- there is none, so expect the floor by the sliding barn door to be quite wet as you shower. If you don't turn the shower water handles to certain degrees, the pipes will rattle something strange making you feel like it will burst unless you turn it to max hot water level The TV lacks any brightness controls to lower the bright light at night. The lighting control could be more granular, its either all on or all off practically. One the plus side, the bathroom refills in the locker outside is a nice tough for those who need spare toothpaste shavers. An overall good hotel with a few shortcomings

The property was amazing. Room was incredibly nice. The check-in process is quite slow and the number of people in line was quite long. There was only one person at the check-in desk to assist. The bar was good. My bartender did seem to have a little bit of a chip on his shoulder.
