It clearly was refurbished only a few months ago. The furniture and decoration inside is basic and minimal, which is actually what we prefer, as it avoids making you feel like you're living in somebody else's house. It's a free standing house with a well maintained garden all around, so no noise nuisance from neighbors and only limited noise from the street. Good and quiet airconditioning in all rooms. The beds were a bit too firm and the lights a bit too bright for our taste, but other guests may like it this way. Easy and free street side parking. There are all sorts of restaurants and shops in the area, which felt very safe and pleasant to us. Easy and frequent bus connection to downtown. Be aware that the laundry equipment is not available for short stays. Traveled with my 13 year old son for a basketball tournament. Can't beat the location with tons of great restaurants and shops to walk to. The backyard garden was the highlight for me.
