« My husband and I along with our newborn recently stayed at chads place. We stayed for two nights and had an amaziing time spending a few days away from home. The cottage had everything you would need and more. Perfect location to downtown Bedford and Shawnee state park. « This place is lovely. The owners are very considerate. I have stayed at alot of places and this one was very peaceful. In the morning enjoy coffee, hot cocoa, or tea on the porch and watch the fog roll off the water. It is about 10 mins from Bedford and that little town has alot to offer. « My friends and I enjoyed our stay! Place was clean, cozy and comfortable with a nicely equipped kitchen. We enjoyed the back deck overlooking the water and saw a bald eagle fly over. We had a lovely Fall getaway. Property is located just outside of town, so convenient to shopping and restaurants. »

« The house was great for our family. It had two master bedrooms with attached bathrooms. Plus two other bedrooms. Beautiful deck. The fenced in yard allowed play location for the kids. I saw on other comments mention of dust webs...true if you look for them... but welcome to the woods. Overall it has a clean feeling. Advice, bring hand towels... there arent any in the 4 bathrooms in the house. If we go back to Raystown...wed reserve this house again! »

« The house inside was decently clean with the exception of the bathtub that was dirty. The area outside was another story. The outside was extremely unkept . The house looked uninhabitable. I never seen such dirty windows with so many cobwebs in my life. The porch was also super dirty with green mold. »

« It was just what we needed. We were in the area to watch our son play baseball with the Altoona Curve, and it was clean, comfortable, and had everything we needed. Being right on the Lower Trail was an added bonus that we used for some convenient exercise. We hope to stay there again! »
