Wonderful Property
Receiving entry info was SLOW. All else was a joy to behold. Maybe if the rain was held off, we could have seen deer, but we did see a whole family of turkeys! We will try again when the weather is better.

Great house in the woods
This is a very nice property in a quiet area just made for relaxing. We were in town for a wedding and needed a "base camp" to work from. Awesome fire pit out back and plenty of space inside for us to enjoy, We will definitely put this property in our favorites list for a return trip!

Nice, but...
Beautiful home and location, but the den that is listed as a sleeping room, it is not private. The doors are made of glass. Also, the master bedroom has decorative window treatments that do not provide privacy. When opened they don't fully cover the windows. We made adjustments to make it work and enjoyed our stay. The beds were comfy and we found everything we needed in the kitchen and laundry room. I would love to stay here again! 😃

The house was nicely decorated, comfortable, and clean. Tucked back in the woods, the fire pit and outside sitting area is private, pleasant, and relaxing. We had one question during our stay, and the host was very helpful and responsive. Location is close to a great beach and not too far from adorable downtown areas.

Loved this property. Very cozy and inviting. Was very clean and we felt very comfortable. We really enjoyed the backyard with all the trees and quiet. Was so peaceful. We enjoyed sitting at the kitchen table in the morning looking out the window with our coffee and conversation. The only thing I would recommend is to have a small patio table and chairs to sit out on the deck area. Other than that, we really enjoyed our stay! It was very homey.

Cute home!
We arrived Friday night stayed Saturday and left su day morning. This house is absolutely beautiful! Grill was perfect and we even brought some firewood to have a fire! We heard all sorts of animals. We even saw a pack of coyotes pretty close! I love nature I'm actually from bad axe area so port Sanilac isn't too far from where I grew up. We had a ton of fun and it's a perfect house!

Pictures do not do this place justice. Much better than expected. Very clean and felt very comfy. Lake Huron was beautiful to watch the sunrise, since your only a few minutes from a lookout point. Enjoyed our stay, hope to book again and bring kids to the beach😊

The place was absolutely wonderful! The process of getting it and getting in were terrible. We couldn't get in . In the process of arranging the place, it was just about impossible to get information. Very frustrating. I don't know if I would use VRBO again or not. I don't like the process.

Perfect home away from home!
This property is everything it says it is and more! Dustie made the entire process so incredibly easy. The home is inviting and comfortable and has everything you need to make you feel right at home. It's surrounded by beautiful large trees that make you feel like you are completely secluded when you are, in fact, incredibly close to both Port Sanilac and Lexington and their conveniences. We immediately booked a second trip to enjoy the property again. Thank you for being so accommodating and offering this wonderful home!

Home was very clean and comfortable. Kitchen was well stocked. Communication with the owner was easy. Temps too cool to use the nice outdoor deck, but looked very inviting. Area surrounding the property is wooded and the house is very peaceful. Highly recommend.

The house was just what I was looking for-somewhere quiet and peaceful. All of the basics are supplied. I really enjoyed the jetted tub. We walked to the scenic roadside park. We also went to Lexington and enjoyed the waterfront there.

Perfect little getaway!
We stayed here for a girls weekend and it was the perfect little spot. Had enough space and beds for us 6 girls to sleep comfortably. The kitchen was fully equipped and had everything we needed to cook a full dinner. The fire pit outside was the perfect extra hangout spot. I loved that the beach (which was such a nice, clean, socially distanced beach) was so close to the house. Just a few minutes in the car and you were there :) Dustie was very quick to respond to all of my inquiries. I would absolutely stay here again!

Thanksgiving Getaway
In the area for extended Family Thanksgiving . We have outgrown the family homestead. Cozy little cottage was great for our family to visit in the area without being stuck in a hotel . Lots of room to sit down and read in the little den, visit in the spacious living room, play games, and even have a meal together with extended family. Great experience!
