Come enjoy our little piece of paradise located in Weeki Wachee, Florida! This waterfront home sits on a spacious corner canal leading right to the gulf and Weeki Wachee river. Ideal for fishing directly from the dock or backyard! Relax and enjoy the view from the deck, with visits from manatees and dolphins! Grill, tan, swim, kayak, check out the local beaches, restaurants, stores, etc! This home has just been remodeled from top to bottom, and everything is brand new!

This home comes with one king and one queen bed. Host will allow up to 6 guests, however, guest must provide their own linens and air mattress for their additional guests (greater than 4 guests).
Do Not park on the grass!! Place thermostat temperature at 78 degrees.

We had an outstanding stay at the property. Our family thoroughly enjoyed the thoughtful layout and spacious design of the home. We spent our days fishing and made excellent use of the kayaks provided. The backyard was ideal for our fishing activities (kids were in heaven), and we were thrilled to catch small snapper, as well as a tarpon even!. We also had the pleasure of spotting manatees, alligators, and otters in the area.The property offered all the amenities we needed—and more. All appliances were modern and updated, and the open-concept living space provided ample room for our family. We especially appreciated the fresh firewood available for evening fires. Check-in was seamless, and the property was very easy to locate.The location is excellent, with a secluded beach just 10 minutes away and Weeki Wachee Springs Park also approximately 10 minutes from the home.We will definitely be booking another stay here later this year. One small tip for future guests: be sure to bring bug spray, as is typical for many areas in Florida.Overall, it was a smooth and memorable experience.Yes they also provide life vests.

It was beautiful. We had a blast. We fished out back, enjoyed a family barbecue, saw a manatee swim right by us, saw some crabs and watched the birds fishing in the early morning. The home was quiet and clean, all the amenities are just as pictured and really was a home. The kayakes were perfect and we took them right out the back and went for a trek down the canals. Thank you for a wonderful spring break.

We had a great time here, the house was great and the view beautiful. We did get to see dolphins twice which was exciting. We were in town for my nephews graduation and my niece and nephews enjoyed playing on the foosball table. It was a hot and humid week so we spent most of the time in the house so it was nice to have a great view.

Super cute! Great kayaking! But you are on your own if anything goes wrong!

Great location for kayaking! This house is on a canal off the Mud River, which later connects to the Weeki Wachee for an enjoyable day's paddle. BUT...We booked 5 people ( it is listed for 6 people) and there were only linens for 4 people. When we messaged the Host about this, he replied "Thanks for reaching out, and I’m really sorry that the extra linens weren’t available as expected. Unfortunately, I’m unable to drop off additional ones during your stay. In the past, we’ve had extra linens go missing or be taken by previous guests, and it looks like that may have happened again. I completely understand this isn’t ideal, and I really appreciate your patience and understanding. If there’s anything else I can help with during your stay, please don’t hesitate to let me know." Yes Jason, you are right. It really isn't ideal to only have linens for four people when you have booked a place for five. How do you decide who gets the bed pillows and washcloths. Which people get sheets and which ones don't? After several messages back and forth over the days of our stay, he did offer to reimburse us for what we had purchased to get by. Unfortunately, my son had not kept the receipt for the sleeping bag that he bought, so the host refused to offer any compensation. Sometimes things happen. But inventory should be done between guests and it shouldn't be our job to fix it. You could have had linens delivered. Easy and done! And the next guests would have linens.

Great home and location!

The home was very clean and well maintained. The kayaks were in really good shape and the seats worked well. The area is amazing and home has a great spot right on the corner of the canal. The one thing that tripped us up a bit was that you either need a Roku account or fire stick to watch TV. We did not have either with us so we couldn't watch TV the entire trip. Wish we had known to prepare for that. Otherwise, the home is wonderful. Thank you to Jason for quick responses.

Just what the doctor ordered

This was my first VRBO stay. The property and amenities were exactly as described. The house appeared to have fresh floors, paint, cabinets, everything!.If we want to see Weeki Wachi again, this will be the place to stay.

It’s absolutely spotless! The back of the house faces a canal. There are kayaks to use. The fishing is fantastic so you bring a pole and live bait. We saw manatees too. Sitting out in the back looking at the water was so therapeutic. The neighborhood is so quiet. We have already booked for next March. We had a great time!

Fantastic, my sister and I enjoyed our stay. We were blessed to see the awesome manatee, enjoyed taking pictures of them. My sister went down the canal on the kyack said it was alot of fun. I highly recomend this place for relaxation.Very happy we were able to stay here.

Relaxing Anniversary Weekend

Every August 9th, my husband and I choose a different location in Florida (where we've lived for ten years) to spend our anniversary weekend. I've always wanted to see the Weeki Wachee Mermaids, and this year we did! We also stayed at this home on the water, which was perfect for the rest of our relaxing weekend. Our favorite time was spent on the comfortable chairs we positioned under the large live oak tree near the water. We didn't use the kayaks, but they were there for us if we wanted to try them out! We loved having this well-appointed home to enjoy while we explored the parks, restaurants and of course, the Mermaids of Weeki Wachee!

Quiet and cozy stay! The house has a wonderful back yard to enjoy and the location was perfect for getting out to the Gulf. The kitchen was stocked with the perfect amount of pans and utensils for staying in and cooking! That’s a plus for our family :) Overall we had a great time and look forward to returning.

We had such a nice family vacation near Weeki Wachee Springs State Park at this location. Saw lots of sea creatures and girls enjoyed fishing off the dock and kayaking. Wish we could have stayed longer! We will be back!

Fun getaway

We went for a quick trip to Weeki Wachee park and springs. Kayaking and fishing at the property were a nice way to spend a day. Additionally, we went to Pine Island Beach, just a 10 min drive up the road. Great for kids and swimming. Host was very responsive and made our stay enjoyable.
