Special note, river access is becoming increasingly difficult, so if you stay here directly on the river, you have unlimited access, anytime, right off of your own dock, kayaking, paddle boarding, swimming, and motor boating. This is a beautiful, 3 bedroom, 2 1/2 bath home Directly on the Weeki Wachee River. We are known as the " Clock House"! From the moment you pass through the hidden gate into the lushly landscaped entry path, the magic of this RIVER home is apparent. Our premier location on the river is one of the best, with deep water right off of the long riverfront dock and across river is a huge, protected, wilderness area. Our property has a new 8' fence on both sides so that your visit is very private. There is a unique (only one on the weeki wachee river) that has a boathouse with an automatic garage door. So you can board your kayaks (we have 6) or paddleboards in the boathouse and paddle out. Of special note, the State Park is now limiting the number of boats they will launch, therefore being right on the river is more important than ever. On the ground floor, the entire house is tiled. You come into a nice foyer with the laundry and half bath to your right and the living/kitchen area the left. Ground floor master bedroom and bath are all wood paneled walls and ceiling. The beautiful full equipped kitchen has stainless appliances, shaker cabinets, and granite counters. There is a huge window facing the patio and river. There is a narrow, long, screened porch just out of the kitchen sliding glass doors for your enjoyment of the view of the weekii wachee river!!. You access the second floor via beautiful spiral stairs and it has a living room with a 3 couches, two bedrooms with queen beds and a full bath. The river deck is huge with pavers and wood decking. There is also a propane gas grill with a side burner, so you can cook and eat right on the river. We have added a large screen room (very important some times of year) with a tile table and seating for 6, right on the river. This is very nice home, very well outfitted, very well located, and owners dedicated to making this a great vacation for you and your family. We will make sure everything is as perfect as we can so that your vacation is a great success. You can jump right off the dock into crystal clear blue water. Thats just one of the things among so many. Sitting on the dock at night listening to the sounds of the woods. Fish jumping out of the water. Star gazing. It ended up being my husband who is handicapped to walk and our two adult kids with their other half. My husband was content to sit on the dock and enjoy nature while the rest jumped on the Round Boats you can rent up stream. We laughed, breathed fresh air and the kids can't stop thanking me . The house is laid out perfect for a family gathering with beautiful wood decor throughout. Most definitely will be back and I'm bringing the grandbabies. The location, about 1 mile from Rogers Park, is ideally situated on the river with easy access to the marina for kayak and boat rentals and also great for watching passersby head to the inlets and springs all day long . . . then leisurely float back by again with friendly waves and relaxed smiles. Dolphins, mullet, crabs and manatees were the exciting highlight swimming by in the deep clear water just off the dock where we relaxed, floated, swam and snorkeled for hours. The spacious house had all the comforts of home with plenty of sleeping and conversation space. The kitchen was fully stocked with utensils, dishware and appliances needed to cook delicious meals for our family during our visit, we never had to leave! We all said we would rent riverside retreat again! Thank you, Summer, for being easy and accommodating. ##### Dawn P. Can’t say enough good things about our stay. We didn’t need her much but when we did, Summer was quick to reply.The house is spacious and fully stocked with anything you might need. What a great location right in the main river. The Crystal clear water was so refeshing, we went for a swim everyday. We saw manatees and dolphins swimming by the dock every morning. The bed was comfortable. We went mainly for the outside but unfortunately after dark it’s not very useable…no lighting other than the 1000 watt can lights on the screened in room…definitely needs a dimmer. It’s is a safety hazard at night because you can’t see the various levels Stuff outside needs to be updated; needs some comfy furniture. Some inflatables weren’t able to inflate. Also need to do something about theMildew moldy smell, too hot to open windows and air out and the AC wasn’t helping the smell. ##### Deborah W.
