Absolutely loved our stay at the Innsbruck. The rooms are updated, spacious and very comfortable. The breakfast each morning was delicious. The staff are all so friendly and helpful. Our favorite thing was sitting in the adirondak chairs down by the babbling stream every morning and evening.

My wife and I had a wonderful two-night stay at AWOL Stowe. From the moment we arrived, the front desk attendant (Riley) made us feel welcome. He was incredibly friendly and shared tips and recommendations that helped us make the most of our visit. The hotel has a cozy, relaxing atmosphere that made it easy to unwind. We especially enjoyed being so close to the Stowe recreation Path. One of our favorite hotel amenities was having complimentary elevated breakfast. Loved the amazing homemade bread each morning. We had an amazing ride along the Stowe Recreation Path, another trip highlights was taking a dip at Glenn Moss Fall. Overall, AWOL Stowe exceeded our expectations. The exceptional hospitality, comfortable accommodations, and thoughtful amenities made for a memorable stay. We would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting Stowe!

The hotel is in a great location and is clean and comfortable. The outdoor pool and hot tub are nice, although we had to wander around and find them on our own. The property is large and big parts of it are under renovation. I'm sure it will be very nice when it's done, but right now it's difficult to navigate. Our key stopped working midway through our stay. There was an employee nearby who attempted to help us get in with his universal key, but his didn't work either. Then, the people in the room next to us walked up and also couldn't get in. We walked to the front desk and there were multiple other customers whose keys had quit working. The front desk employee insinuated it was because we were all keeping our keys too near our phones. I don't believe that was the case. My biggest problem with this hotel has come after our stay. I had prepaid for the room through hotels.com and knew that I would need to pay a resort fee at stay. I gave them my card upon arrival to pay the resort fee (and maybe put a deposit down for incidentals). Instead, they charged me the resort fee PLUS an extra $249. They claim this was just a temporary hold and will fall off in 2-5 days, but it has been a full week, it is a full charge that has been processed on my card and it's much more than the $50 or $100 charges that are common at other hotels. I am still fighting this battle, so if you stay here, watch your charges carefully.

Ive stayed at a lot of properties in Vermont and this one was by far the worst one. Its definitely more of a motel vibe. The room I stayed in with my 2 kids was small. Pretty much 2 queen beds, a TV and a fridge. If there wasnt benches by each bed, we wouldn't have anywhere to put our stuff. The bathroom had a barn door that never closed all the way, so there was like a 2 inch gap. You could hear everything. Mind as well had the toilet in the middle of the bedroom. Our upstairs neighbors never slept. We could hear their TV on and it sounded like a herd of elephants up there. Literally started stomping at 6am everyday we were there. What bothered me the most was the fact that it rained a lot 2 nights we were there and no attempt was made to clean any dirt up. We took our shoes off at the door, but stuff tracks in. We got housekeeping 1 time and in that time they brought towels but didnt even take the dirty ones. Beds were not made, dirt was not swept up. Idk if I had known i would have brought my own broom. It was a very discount feeling vacation. Not even remotely cute or boutique as they make it seem online. I wouldn't recommend or stay again.
