The island is wonderful, everyone is friendly, the villas are neat, clean, the food in restaurant is very expensive. Lack of animation, the open bar on the beach is closed, there is no waiter. No type of entertainment is offered within the hotel. The first two days are pleasant silence and peace, but already on the third day it lacks a little liveliness. Mosquitoes are a separate story. If someone is coming, let them provide themselves with the best protection against mosquitoes. You must visit the nearby Moyene island with its turtles.

Outstanding resort. The villas are so spacious and have magnificent views, but what makes Maia special is the villa hosts. We had the pleasure of Hanane taking care of us and she went above and beyond to make us happy, making a romantic bath and providing a special candlelit meal in the jungle for us on our last night. The staff are all wonderful and treat you like royalty.

"This property and the staff were great! There are a couple different restaurants on site and none of them disappointed. The property itself was beautiful and situated right on the beach. The pools were beautiful along with the North Beach. We would definitely stay there again."

Our bags were left in reception for 2 hours after check in and even then we ended up collecting them ourselves.
