We are located in the middle of Bolivar Peninsula, beach side, in an area referred to as “shark’s tooth alley”. We are not in the busiest/craziest part of the beach but more in the family oriented part. Fabulous views of both the sunrise and sunset from 1st floor deck, two 2nd floor balconies, and 3rd floor widow's walk. Fully loaded kitchen including dishwasher, microwave, and coffee pot. Central air, 3 TVs, washer/dryer and optic internet. Special Features--extra parking, ground level hang-out with a hot tub, 3 picnic tables and outdoor bath beneath house, both propane & charcoal BBQ pits and an outdoor heater. It is clear that the homeowner takes great pride in her home and it had every amenity we could possibly need. Simple things like access to the garage to place our beach stuff each night locked up or use of the fridge/freezer in said garage to make keeping the ice for the cooler easy are just examples of how well thought out this rental property is. We had the opportunity to speak with Cheryl and she was very accommodating to our questions. The house is large enough that our family (dad, mom, son, daughter, and 2 grandmothers, along with our golden retriever) all had enough space so it didn’t feel like we were on top of each other. It was perfect for our 3 families to have a family getaway. The multiple balconies, two living rooms, and short walk to the beach were just what we were looking for. The view of the beach from the balconies completely took our breath away and was such a great surprise! The cargo lift allowed us to accommodate our son who uses a wheelchair, and the fully fenced porch was perfect for our dogs to get some fresh air throughout the day. The kitchen was well stocked with the odds and ends we forgot to bring along. Everything was very clean. Communication with the owners was quick, thorough, and so helpful! The lift was the main reason we rented this house - traveled with mom and aunt who needed the assistance. Had everything we needed to cook, relax and enjoy the sound of the waves.
