Beach Paradise
We have stayed 2 years in a row at this place. This year we got a bigger cottage. This place is perfect. Beautiful clean sandy beach. Water is shallow so kids can swim and play. Beach is not rocky at all. The cottage is clean cute and beds are so comfortable.

Simply Perfect
Our family stayed here for a week every summer when we were kids. We were happy to find this place still available for rentals when we planned a family get together for my dad's 80th birthday. Everything has been redecorated and freshened up. All three cottages we rented were adorable, super clean and had pretty much everything you'd need. You can't find a better beach and sunset. Communication with hosts was quick, easy and fast. They even placed a little bunch of bday balloons in my parents cottage before Dad's arrival for his birthday celebration. I was so pleasantly surprised by the things that had changed for the better and the wonderful amenities and cozy relaxing feel of the property that have remained well after 30+ years. Great family vacation property. Highly recommend 💜💚💛

Great Cottage, interesting communication
We had a great time at this cottage, unfortunately we had no running water for 12 hours. We understand things happen and we were not upset at all by this we were upset we couldn't get a hold of anyone for 3 hours to tell them what was happening. They did compensate for our frustration and troubles, would I stay here again? yes I would but only if they get the communication kinks worked out. Great location Great amenities very clean.

Great Beach- Overall Pleasant Stay
The location of the cottage was great and just what we were looking for. The owner has 7 or 8 bungalows close to each other. This one is located right on the water. The beach is great and the kids loved playing in the sand. The water was beautiful with really nice sand bars. The property is shared as I mentioned above so there are neighbors very close by. The property has a few picnic tables and swings for everyone to use. There's also a community fire pit as well. We did find a smaller fire pit in the sand and moved it closer to our cottage so we could have our own private fire. I sent a couple of messages to the owner leading up to the stay with questions about the property. It took a couple days to get a response but my questions were answered. I did have trouble reaching someone with any of the phone numbers that were listed on VRBO as well as the ones posted in the cottage. Text messages were not responded to and voice mailboxes were either full or not set up. It would be helpful to list all of the check in instruction on VRBO because had I not asked prior to arriving, I wouldn't know how to enter the home. There are also two bathrooms and listing only reflects one. Having a second toilet was a nice surprise. We had an issue with a bad sewage smell on the property so the only way I could reach someone was by sending a direct message from this site. I was pleased with how quickly someone replied to my message and sent someone out to address it right away. The pictures of the cottage itself are very accurate. It's old but freshly painted and felt clean overall. The beds were comfortable. The air worked ok for the rooms that had vents. Luckily, we had cooler evenings so it wasn't an issue for us. We loved being right on the water for a weekend getaway. We also liked the fact that there wasn't a week long minimum to book the property. I would consider staying here again if the prices were lower.

Disappointed
We have stayed at these cottages for years, and they were never super clean, but we had high hopes for new ownership and the remodel they said they were doing. Well, we left very disappointed and this may be out last visit. Prices went way up on these cottages for basic cosmetic changes. It was hardly a remodel (except air conditioning). The owners barely responded through Vrbo. The numbers given to the mgmt company got you nowhere as no one answered or called back. Two other families at the units complained of the same issues. We were not given even close to enough toilet paper / paper towel for a 3 day stay. Sheets and pillowcases were stained and dirty. The cabin features two doorwalls as your doors and one didn't lock!!! Making it unsafe on our first night to secure the cottage The owners didn't respond to me for several hours concerning this issues. The 2nd day they sent a very nice handy man out, but he didn't fix the door wall, just put a stick in it. We got one message from the owner our entire stay, only eventually responding to the broken door, and never another call or message after. We didn't even know where to get the keys for the cottage when we arrived. Nobody would answer my call or message. We just walked into the cottage and hoped they were there. These people are either too busy to own these units or just don't care. So disappointed.
