We have spent a week at Sa Bassa with our extended family (grandparents, babies, toddlers, teenagers), and the hotel was perfect to accommodate our various needs. The menu varies from day to day and offers fresh, healthy and delicious food options with ingredients sourced directly from the island accompanied by excellent wines. The staff was always very attentive and helpful. They were able to accommodate a request for a ‘big family style’ paella at a short notice. A very relaxing place to get pampered.

There were flies and a lizard in the room in arrival. The AC wasn’t on. The curtains were not quite on the rail. Not what I expected.

Stayed here for a wedding, a very country hotel. If you want to get away from it and relax this is the place for you. The suite is pretty decent and restaurant and breakfast just ok. The finca is great for nice walks and runs. Really great to have access to bikes. The wedding we attended was done fantastically, so highly suggest for a wedding.

Relaxing quality in Mallorca countryside.
An error by the hotel gave us a room that was adjacent to a wedding reception making it practically unusable for the first night. We were moved to the correct room you the following day and the rest of the booking. Once in the correct room everything was excellent, a great place for a quiet and relaxing break in the Mallorca countryside. A car is a must if you want to leave the hotel.

Nice peaceful and relaxing hotel
Enjoyed the atmosphere, other guests were considerate. There was a wedding whilst we were there which was interesting and nice to watch.

Definitely Rural
Very rural location. Very peaceful and quiet. Everyone very laid back, maybe a little too much. Food was rated as a-la-carte, however, food was very nice, but not a-la-carte. Set menu every evening, little disappointing, would have preferred a little more variety, but did work in this very small environment hotel. Some of the young waiting staff, very inexperienced and it showed. Other than your room and pool, very little to do. Had advertised a shop at hotel, not ready to open on my visit, table tennis offered but not available. You would need a car for any significant length of stay, as no shop nearby for essential personal purchases. In bad weather, there is very little or nothing to do other than retreat to your room or the library. There was a lot of repair work visually happening, I think personally they have advertised too much too early to open and be able to offer what has been promised.

Also, as we harvest a lot of veggies from our organic garden, we could mark down menu price. We are working constantly on our waiting staff service quality. Thank you for your feedback again, there is a room to improvement always! Our shop is open since many weeks now offering lots of locally crafted goods. We are sorry it wasn't open in time of your stay! Our new tennis table is also here now. At the end of May-June we did had some unexpected hot water pipeline damages we had to repair and we are sorry for the inconvenience it could bring to your stay! Great for adults wanting to relax away from the cr
Hotel is in the middle of nowhere so you'll need transport. Facilities are good, the restaurant was way over priced for the food quality and range of menu. The air conditioning units are a little temperamental and night times were a tad uncomfortable but then it was mid July.

A weekend in the Mallorcan countryside
We travelled from England to stay in the hotel for one weekend because of a large family birthday party we were having nearby in Porreres. We enjoyed being in the hotel which is interesting to look round, the quietness of the countryside, the wonderful coffee and fresh breads every morning and the many facilities you have for guests. Sadly we didn't have time to use the Spa and it was too cold for the outdoor pool. Despite that, we really enjoyed our short stay there and thank you all for your courtesy and helpfulness to us.

Oasis of Tranquility
A real find and worth the effort finding it ! We recommend the Suites overlooking the lovely outside pool (there is an inside pool too with Hot tub,Sauna, Steam room, Gym etc). Excellent restaurant as well. Great value all round.

Great hotel, perfectly accommodating for children.
Very accommodating for two young children (our biggest fear from the stay). A very good restaurant worth every penny (although worth knowing that it's going to be expensive before your stay). Would have benefited from proper air conditioning - a unit in each room was old-fashioned and fairly inefficient. Enjoyed the activities in the hotel and are really pleased we too the plunge and stayed here.

Luxury Oasis
What a find! You would never know this is here, but you must find it as it is a gem. Luxury room, great breakfast, lovely pool, helpful staff. This is so peaceful in the middle of the Majorcan countryside. I couldn't really think of a downside other than the nearby towns (in any direction) have little in the way of restaurants and only a few local bars. So eat at the hotel as the menus seemed interesting and fairly priced. Oh that and the friendly puppy "Bassa" in reception, bit into my wife's dress just playing, but tore a chunk out when we finally got him to release his little teeth! It actually didn't spoil anything.

Sa Bassa Rotja - a charmingly converted finca
Sa Bassa is a nicely converted old farm that must have belonged to a rich rather than poor farmer. It is full of charm and and character. The swimming pool is clean and very well looked after. Our room in the main building was very comfortable albeit a little warm due to the fact that there was no air con. The staff are polite albeit a little distant sometimes. We only had dinner there once and found the food ok. Worth noting that the hotel is very popular with German families and couples, who are very quiet. Consequently, the breakfast buffer cater for German taste. Expect lots of cheese and meats!

Lovely environment but some details missing
Magical environment, a lot of things to do like horse back riding, gym, tracks, bikes, yoga, tennis. Beautiful nature. On the down side the rooms was not 100% clean, we stayed in a small stone house and we had spider webs in the corners and it was dusty. The bed was hard. The food was not good at all but the waiters did their absolute best to give us nice service.

Da das Hotel gut 3,5 km entfernt von den nächsten Ort liegt ist Entspannung und Erholung garantiert. Die Anlage ist herrlich schön romantisch und einfach zum Wohlfühlen. Die herzliche Begrüßung mit Sektchen und die Erklärung des Hotels war der nächste positive Eindruck! Das gesamte Personal super freundlich, hilfsbereit und geduldig. Wir hatten eine Reitstunde bei Martina. Wir, beide blutige Anfänger, erfuhren durch Martinas freundliche, offene und herzliche Art ein tolles Erlebnis auf den Pferden. Die gemütliche Runde auf den Pferde. Übers Hotelgelände hat uns hervorragend gefallen. Großes Lob an Sie! Rundum fühlten wir uns wohl! Sehr zu empfehlen.

Sehr freundliches Personal. Zimmer und Bad mittelgroß, z.T. mit Vorsicht zu genießen (einegbauter historischer Bogen). Sehr effektive Kühlung im Zimmer. Frühstück wenig abwechslungssreich, aber durchaus ausreichend. Gute Küche. Ausgedehnte Anlage mit großem Pool und mehreren Sportangeboten. Insgesamt recht empfehlenwert.

Wir hatten eine tolle Woche! Das Hotel punktet mit seinem klassisch rustikalem Charme, einfach zum Wohlfühlen. Die Mitarbeiter waren rundum sehr bemüht um ihre Gäste und sehr freundlich. Unser Zimmer (002) hatte sowohl einen kleinen Kühlschrank, als auch einen Fernseher mit deutschem Programm. Das Bad war angenehm groß und sauber. Das Bett war unserer Meinung nach bequem und hat uns gut „durch die Woche gebracht“. Wenn die Nachbarn mal etwas früher wach sind, ist man es evtl. auch (etwas hellhörig). Die Anlage ist ein Traum: von wandern über Fahrrad fahren (Fahrräder stehen zur Verfügung) und reiten (wird von einem netten älteren Herrn namens Tomeu begleitet) kann man hier eine Menge erleben. Auf einem 1 Mio QM großem Grundstück wird einem nicht so schnell langweilig! Ansonsten ist es aufgrund der Lage des Hotels (ca. 3,5 km außerorts) ratsam einen Mietwagen zu nehmen, wenn man flexibel Ausflüge bestreiten möchte. Wer es entspannt möchte, hat mit dem Hotel internen Angeboten im Spa, mit den gebotenen Akrivitäten oder auch einfach nur mit dem Pool ebenso eine tolle Zeit vor sich. Zum Essen: top! Morgens Büffet, abends ein Menü mit jeweils 2-3 Auswahlmöglichkeiten der Vor- und Hauptspeisen. Vegetarier sollten sich jedoch vorher melden da die Speisen sehr Fleisch und Fisch lastig sind. Service ebenso sehr angenehm. Also um es auf den Punkt zu bringen: wir würden das Hotel ganz klar weiterempfehlen!!

Wir möchten Sie darüber informieren, dass unser Hotel das ganze Jahr geöffnet ist und ,abhängig von der Saison, haben wir verschiedene Preise und Buchungsbedingungen, sowie drei verschiedenen Zimmernkategorien, von modernen Doppelzimmern mit aktuellen Möbeln bis zur Suiten mit luxuriöserer Dekoration und großen Terrassen, so dass jeder Kunde nach seinen persönlichen Vorlieben, wählen kann. Bezüglich das Frühstück, dieses ist im Büffetform serviert, um mehr Optionen an unsere Gäste anzubieten. Wir haben frisches gebackenes Brot, Fruchtvariationen, Marmeladen, Würstchen, Säften, inklusive natürlichem Orangensaft, Joghurt, warmes Buffet,... wir bedauern uns sehr, dass Sie keine Option gefunden haben, die Ihnen gefällt hat. Für Ruhesuchende Ideal Traumfinca
Hotel liegt sehr abseits von Porreres. Für Ruhesuchende ideal. Ohne Mietwagen geht hier nicht viel. Uns war das jedoch bewusst. Der Pool ist sehr sauber , die Anlage gut gepflegt. Kulisse traumhaft. Das Hotel verfügt über verschiedene Zimmerkategorien im Haupthaus , dann Suiten in Form einer kleinen Fincasiedlung (entlang des Pools mit mehreren zimmern) mit Terasse zum Pool hin und Zimmer im Nebengebäudes ( modern Zimmer) und Spa unter einem Dach , was nicht störend war.Die Zimmer im Nebengebäude ( modern Zimmer) verfügen lediglich ein kleines Fenster wo man mit Frischluft versorgt wird und einen Blick nach außen hat. Diese Zimmer haben keinen Balkon. Handtücher und Badesachen konnten vor einem kleinen Innenhof , wo alle Zimmer im nebengebäude erreichbar waren getrocknet werden. Uns war nicht bewusst das diese Zimmerkategorie keinen Balkon aufweisen. Wir hätten uns besser informieren können , aber dennoch ist die Angabe über die Zimmer in Bezug auf Balkone und Ausblick unzureichend, bei Expedia. Das war eigentlich so das einzigste enttäuschende. Das Bad in den Modern Zimmern war ebenfalls sehr klein . Das Frühstück war qualitativ hervorragend, jedoch fehlte uns doch etwas mehr Auswahl was wir bei 4sternen anders kennen. Fisch(Lachs) gab es 1x die Woche in Verbindung mit Sekt. Weinprobe war einsuper Erlebnis mit tollen Weinen.Abendessen in Menüform war qualitativ gut, hatten es aber nur einmal genutzt da wir sonst auswärts essen waren .Erholungsgaktor perfekt.

Our experience was OK
The pictures on the website are very nice but at arrival in reality it is a bit disappointing. The bed in our (small) modern room was very small and not straight anymore. Service at the reception was great, very friendly. Horseriding was unfortunately only possible for 1 person a time.. The breakfast was like a big hotel OK but nothing fancy nor local and that for €16 per person a day.

Dear Theunisse, Thank you very much for your feedback! All the modern rooms are all little bit different, some of them are bigger, other are smaller. We do try to accomodate our guests in the best way always. Even in high season it is little bit difficult to accomodate all guests in bigger rooms. Thank you for rating our reception service as great, it is very important to us to offer a very friendly and welcoming attention to our guests in all areas. For the horse riding there are 2 horses available at time, but the horse riders have to have a greater experience with the second horse. Pelusa is a very quiet horse, so even unexperienced riders can ride her. Instead Tiró is a younger and livlier horse, so we don't recommend it to beginners (I imagine it was your case). Mooi en rustig heerst er in het hotel. Personeel vriendelijk ontbijt voor iedereen wat. Als de keuken 'S ochtends dicht gaat word er aan iedereen die er nog zit gevraagd of ze nog wat willen.

Perfektes, schönes Hotel sehr ruhig und abgelegen
Wir waren Anfang März für 5 Tage in diesem wunderbaren Hotel. Nur zu empfehlen. Sehr guter Service, lecker Frühstück. Tolle Standardzimmer. Das ganze Umfeld ist sehr schön. Gerade das abgelegene ist sehr stimmig. Unseres Erachtens jedoch nur mit Mietwagen machbar um due ganze Insel zu erkunden.

Wunderschön aber nicht Wintertauglich
Erster und letzter Eindruck: unglaublich schöne Hotelanlage und Garten. Dort spazieren, einfach ein Traum. Es wirkt paradiesisch, besonders weil das Hotel mitten im Nirgendwo steht. Wir sind in der Suite geblieben. Sehr dunkel, aber nett und mit einer charmanter Einfachheit eingerichtet. Die Beleuchtung an sich war nicht wirklich durchdacht, es gab nur kalt wirkendes Licht und man konnte das Zimmer nie wirklich hell machen. Problematisch an dem Zimmer war auch die Feuchtigkeit, die für ein unangenehmes Geruch gesorgt hat. Das Badezimmer war ständig überflutet, weil irgendwas nicht richtig bei der Dichtung in der Duschkabine/Badewanne war. Traumhaft war aber die Aussicht: noch im Bett zu liegen und Orangenbäume am Fenster zu genießen, während der Sonne aufgeht. Da hat man alles andere verziehen und vergessen. Wunderschön war es spazieren zu gehen und sich die extrem gut erhaltene Gärten anzuschauen. Schwimmbecken auch tadellos, wir waren in Indoor-Bereich und es war super. Das Restaurant war entäuschend. Gute Weinkarte! Das Menü hat viel versprochen, aber hat leider anders geschmeckt. Preisleistungsverhätnis komplett daneben... Personal war sehr nett und hilfreich. Ab und zu haben sie ein bisschen überfordert gewirkt, aber waren trotzdem freundlich. Das Hotel würden wir nicht in den Wintermonaten empfehlen, da die Feuchtigkeit das Zimmer nicht sehr gemütlich macht.

Ländliche Idylle
Man glaubt nicht, im Zentrum von Mallorca zu sein. Fahrräder zur Benutzung, schöne Spaziergänge, Wellness, zentral gelegen für Ausflüge. Sehr schöne Anlage.

Das Personal war immer sehr hilfsbereit ohne aufdringlich zu sein. Bereits der Empfang war herzlich und persönlich. Hier ist man noch ein willkommener Gast.

Wir hatten ein Economy-Zimmer gebucht. Die Größe war ok, aber das Fenster war oben in der Ecke, es kam Kellerfeeling auf. Kein Sonnenstrahl erreichte das Zimmer und wir mußten immer Licht einschalten. Das Badezimmer war so eng, von der Toilette konnte man nicht herunterfallen, sie war eingeklemmt zwischen 2 Wänden, die Sauberkeit hätte besser sein können. Am ersten Abend kamen wir sehr spät ins Hotel, die Küche hatte schon zu aber man hatte uns etwas zum Abendessen vorbereitet, das war sehr nett, Preis/Leistung beim Abendessen stimmte nicht, aber das Ambiente war sehr schön und das kostet wohl. Wir waren von unserem Zimmer doch arg enttäuscht, denn der Internet-Auftritt gaukelt einem doch etwas anderes vor, ein Economy-Zimmer können wir nicht empfehlen.

Mooi hotel, rustig gelegen 3 km van Porreres
Een mooi hotel met zeer vriendelijk personeel. Mooi ruim zwembad met voldoende ligstoelen. Leuke details zoals een glaasje cava bij aankomst, verse bloemetjes op je tuintafel en een fles wijn voor het mogelijke ongemak tijdens een bruiloftsdiner wat iets verderop op het terrein gegeven werd. Een minpuntje was het restaurant. Het ontbijt en de snackkaart zijn prima maar het diner viel tegen. Het waren zeker niet de gerechten die je op foto's voorbij zag komen. Maar genoeg lekkere restaurants op Mallorca.

Wunderbarer Urlaub
Wunderschön gelegene Finca um geben von toller Natur. Toller alter Bau und toller Poolbereich. Sehr feines Frühstück. Sehr bettes und hilfbereites Personal, welches uns tolle Strandtipps gab. Vielen Dank nochmals. Die Zimmer sind etwas dunkel und nicht modern aber sauber und verfügen über alles was man braucht.

Entspannung pur
Mallorca ist im Winter, wenn man fast alleine auf der Insel ist herrlich. Die Hotel Anlage ist inmitten von Feldern der richtige Ort zum ausspannen. Die Finca wurde liebevoll renoviert. Das Personal sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Das Frühstück ausgiebig mit Früchten und frischem Orangen Saft. Das Abendessen für mich zu üppig und in der Auswahl begrenzt. Alles in allem kann ich das Sa Bassa Rotja mit gutem Gewissen weiterempfehlen.
