We were welcomed at check‑in with refreshments, which was such a thoughtful touch after traveling. The hotel also provided secure luggage storage before our ferry arrival, which made exploring Hydra stress‑free. But what impressed us most was the exceptional kindness and professionalism of the staff. My wife had accidentally left behind some jewelries, and not only did the team locate them quickly, they also arranged to have it safely shipped to our home. This was truly above and beyond the call of duty, and we are incredibly grateful. Leto Hotel Hydra exceeded our expectations in every way, and we would happily stay here again."

"Hotel desk clerk was friendly & attentive to us when we arrived a few hours early for check in. We were able to stow our luggage in the lobby and we were served a glass of wine and some chips to enjoy in the garden while our room was cleaned. We stayed in room 3, upstairs with a huge balcony that overlooked the hotel garden, a bit of the town and had a sea view as well. Although we were only on Hydra for two nights, we did manage to enjoy our space both outdoors and inside. The KingBed was very comfy, good pillows too. There's a nice antique wardrobe and dresser to use. Bathroom was functional, although missing a fan, there's a small window to open to allow steam to escape. Showerhead is up very high, about 6' so if you are not too tall it may make it difficult to adjust it. Hot water takes a minute or two, but great overall. Good HVAC system. Mini fridge makes a bit a noise which can disturb light sleepers. I unplugged it one night. Nothing but water in the fridge so it was ok. You pre select your breakfast items the night before, a mixture of cold continental style items and egg dishes - but no meats. Very tasty and service excellent. If you don't have a lot of heavy luggage and pack light like we did, you can walk to the place in about 5-10 mins taking it slow as it is a slight uphill climb on cobblestones. There are donkeys to rent to carry you and your luggage but didn't inquire or know the price. Lots of cats - we got a bag & walked around feeding a few dozen."

"New Aegli is about 1.2 miles from the Poros Ferry landing, and Poros is less than an hour from Pireous Port, (using the fast cat ferries) which is just 25 minutes by Metro Train from Athens city center. I travel to Athens once or twice a year from Portland, Oregon, usually in April/May, and September/October. Athens can get a little crowded w/ tourists, so Poros is a nice escape. New Aegli is my first-choice hotel in Poros. It is right on the beach with great balcony views of the beach and sea. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The breakfasts cost extra, but they are worth it. . .a nice selection of healthy foods, fruits and vegetables, eggs, and some sweets too. This is a seasonal hotel, so they are generally open from May through October."

"The view off balcony was beautiful but a lot of the amenities were not available during our stay. No free breakfast, no access to roof top lounge etc. And all my efforts to contact property owners abount maintenance issues went unanswered. "
