The hospitality was unique and we got a lot of recommendations for fantastic walks in Valtellina's vineyards, restaurants, etc. The breakfast, cleaning and the service we experienced was extraordinary. "Little gem of a family-run bed and breakfast in a beautiful setting, with an outdoor jacuzzi and sauna overlooking the mountains. The staff was super friendly and accommodating, with excellent recommendations for things to do and places to eat in the area. Our room was impeccably clean, tastefully designed, and comfortable. Breakfast offers a wide variety and generous portions. We'll definitely stay at Al Solif again if ever back in the Livigno area!"

"Luxury accomodations right next to the river and bike path through the region - the host was wonderful and the decor was beautiful. The large grounds were full of areas to relax - veranda with wine grape vines, fruit trees, tasteful landscaping in an area tucked into farmland without the feeling of being crammed into the city. The bedding was lux and comfy and the breakfast had fresh cakes, pastries, muesli, boiled eggs on tiny nests, cheeses and gourmet cured meats - even walnuts to crack....

"We paid almost $200 for the room for one night and they put us in a room in the back of the hotel where we had to climb up and down ladders to get to, even though the hotel had a very low occupancy rate. In my opinion, if they ever wanted us to return to their hotel in the future, they could have upgraded our room. On the plus side, they did have a shuttle to take us from and to the train station."

Das Zimmer im Clubhouse ist zwar eher klein, doch hat es alles, was man sich wünschen kann, auch einen Wasserkocher. Unten im Saal vom Clubhouse fanden wir immer frische Früchte. "This generously sized duplex apartment is clean, warm & spacious. It is conveniently located beside the Magnolta ski lift and directly beside the local public swimming pool which was ideal for us. There is a free daily ski bus shuttle that runs on a half hour basis throughout the day and this stops outside the swimming pool. The host is contactable and very pleasant to deal with. We would recommend this accommodation without hesitation. :-)"

We new it would be somewhat isolated so we brought a few food items because the kitchen was advertised. Olny one pot. No frying pan. Very poorly equipped compaired to the advertisement and what we expected. A breakfas was offeted for a ridiculous price. We had hope to make our own. We got stuck on the ground floor with no view.
