"We had a 5night reservation at the Holiday Inn Alliance in Fort Worth and unfortunately experienced one of the worst hotel stays we've ever had. After a 15-hour drive, we arrived exhausted at 2:00 AM and were assigned a room on the 4th fl. Upon entering, we were immediately met with a strong marijuana odor. We had to return to the front desk with all of our belongings and request another room. The replacement room, located directly across from the elevator, was dirty and poorly maintained. Furniture surfaces were sticky, food stains were visible, and the overall condition was unacceptable. By the time we settled in, it was nearly 3AM. At 5AM, constant elevator traffic, slamming doors, loud footsteps, and hallway conversations made it impossible to sleep. To make matters worse, the shower dispensers were empty. When I called the front desk, only shampoo was provided, and I was told the hotel had no body wash available. I spoke with the manager, Jay who agreed to cancel the remainder of our reservation at no cost and assured me we would not be charged for that first night. When I requested written confirmation, he claimed none was available because the reservation had been canceled. 5-9 days later, I discovered my CC had been charged the full amt. Despite multiple calls + messages, Jay never returned my calls or addressed the issue. I ultimately had to dispute the charges with my CC company.Between dirty rooms, lack of basic amenitiesexcessive noise, and mngmt fail to honor the"

Embassy Suites by Hilton Dallas DFW Airport North

"This used to be the only place tp stay ffor me while in the DFW area. You need to add 20 dollars per night per car for parking. Thats almost a 20 percent increase in "Per Night Cost". This cost was not mentioned to us until after we checked in. It's noy the money, it's the deception. Half the elevators were closed for mantainance. Hot Tub was eliminated but still advertized as a service provided (Big deal for me as I am Disabled due to bad auto wreck and deal with constant pain issues). Not "Open to Bass Pro Shop" like it used to be. Basically, it went from a high 4 to low Star Hotel and downgraded it to a mid range Star Hotel."

"What a disaster. I booked two rooms for 4 women. Somehow my husbands name was on one room and mine on another. They would not allow me to access that room because my husband was not present. It took 3 hours and multiple calls to Expedia before the hotel accepted that the two rooms were paid for and I should not have to pay for a third room. And apparently their reason was that we have two different last names. What a way to ruin the end of a nice vacation. So dot your i's and cross your t's if you stay at this property."

"I prepaid and reserved a room, but i arrived late and my room was released. I was able to get a room the first night, which they charged me for. So, all told, I paid nearly $900 for one night in a ground floor room with loud people yelling at the bar and doors slamming all night."

La Quinta Inn & Suites by Wyndham Lewisville

"Really liked THIS La Quinta. It’s very well kept for it being seven years old, which I had asked the lady serving breakfast. Check in was nice and easy. There is a small cute park next to the hotel if you have a dog (we took ours over for a walk and to do his business in which we also cleaned). Pet fee is pretty good as well. Loved the room and the walk-in shower. Only problem we had was our AC unit was really loud, but we managed to fix the rattling noise by putting some of our stuff on it and it worked out. Comfy bed. Lightning in bathroom was a little dark for a vanity mirror but still nice. Overall, really nice stay for stopping midway for our trip with our dog. Easy to get to and had a gas station nearby (good price as well)."
