  • Welcome to the “Nature Island of the Caribbean,” Dominica!
    Are you looking for a cozy, quiet place to stay in a stunning setting—away from mass tourism yet close to everything that makes Dominica so special? Then you’ve come to the right place.

    Our approximately 60 m² vacation apartment is located in Pointe Michel Heights, just 15 minutes from the capital, Roseau. Perched high above the coast, you’ll enjoy a fantastic view of the Caribbean Sea from the kitchen—a real highlight, especially at sunset.
    The apartment features:
    An open-concept living/dining area
    A well-equipped kitchen
    A bedroom with a double bed
    A bathroom with a shower
    A small, cozy terrace
    Wi-Fi & fans
    Plenty of peace and privacy
    Ideal for 1–2 people who want to explore Dominica on their own.
    Perfect location for explorers
    From here, you can reach many of the island’s highlights in no time:
    Hot springs, waterfalls, Scotts Head Marine Park, hiking trails, Champagne Reef, the Botanical Garden in Roseau—and much more. Small supermarkets and local restaurants are also within easy reach.

    I’m Petra, your German-speaking host. I’ve lived in Dominica for many decades and would be happy to assist you with everything related to your stay: from tours and transfers to restaurant recommendations or hidden gems off the beaten path. For maximum independence, we highly recommend renting a car in Dominica. The access road to the house is approximately 1.5 km of unpaved gravel road from the main highway, and there are no public buses serving this area.
    Whether you’re visiting Dominica as a nature lover, an active traveller, or simply to relax—you’ll find the ideal starting point here. Car rental company on-site.

Sehr schöne Unterkunft. Eine Woche war definitiv zu wenig !Die Lage ist ideal: mitten im Grünen, 5 Min. zum Meer und trotzdem nahe an der Hauptstadt. Die nächste Tauchstation ist knapp 10 Min. entfernt. Im Regenwald und bei den meisten Wasserfällen ist man auch in 20 bis 30 Min. Einen Mietwagen würde ich auf Dominica unbedingt empfehlen. Die Wohnung ist modern, gut ausgestattet und super gepflegt. Besonders gefallen hat mir der Blick ins Grüne von der kleinen Terrasse am Eingang aus, so wie von der Küchentür aus aufs Meer. Dort habe ich oft den Sonnenuntergang genossen.Die sehr ruhige, entspannte Atmosphäre im Haus habe ich sehr geschätzt, eine echte Wohlfühloase. Die letzten ca. 3 Min. Weg hoch zum Haus führen über einen nicht asphaltierten und entsprechend etwas holprigen Anliegerweg, wie beschrieben. Das war mit meinem Mietwagen kein Problem. Die Gastgeberin ist sehr nett, unkompliziert und immer hilfsbereit bei Fragen. Ich habe mich rundum gut aufgehoben gefühlt. Jederzeit wieder, eine klare Empfehlung !
