"Amazing property with spectacular views. Our host was fantastic. Getting to the house the first time is an adventure, but the town that sits below is cute with very cool stores and shops. It is a 15 minute drive to the train station and then another 20-25 minutes and you are in the middle of Rome. "It was perfect for a family of nine and Martina and our hosts were amazing! This is a place you’ll never want to leave. One day there was a big wind storm and the pool was littered with leaves. Early the next morning a crew cleaned it up like nothing ever happened. They also arranged to have a wonderful dinner cooked for us that we will never forget. "We had a party of 10, aged from 27 to 88. The setting was just perfect. The amenities are good, the villa I would decribe as rustic. For us the pool area was perfect. We took some Bluetooth speakers for some music. The Belvedere Restaraunt is 500 metres away and also has a great outlook and good food as reasonable prices. "Isabella is a wonderful host and her on-site caretaker was extremely helpful. The house and property are huge but unfortunately all the pictures on VRBO were taken over 20 years ago. The kitchen is not a working kitchen and many repairs need to be done. However, the area is restful and there are wonderful restaurants nearby."

"Our family loved our stay at Paola's villa! It was great to be able to escape the city every day and come back to such a beautiful, quiet place. It was incredibly hot while we were there, so the pool was a perfect escape from the heat - very clean and the perfect temperature. Getting to and from Rome.was a breeze. The train takes about 50 minutes to get into central Rome. The schedule can be hit or miss, but we were able to just hop on a bus instead. The town of Castelnuovo was also amazing....
