I called repeatedly, like 10 times, from Munich...to let them know I would be doing a late check-in, got thru once, but lady was no help. Finally arrived, after delays at 2:00am and no one to answer door. No place to stay. So had to pay for premium room at Marriot so I could sleep.

Great Little Place

We liked the proximity to the city. The staff were very friendly and bent over backwards to please the guests. The breakfast was excellent. We stayed for three nights but unfortunately no room service was provided during that time.

The walls were quite thin and the stairwell was a bit tricky for anyone with mobility concerns, but overall we were very happy with this place. The bathroom was updated, excellent water pressure and hot water. Staff was great; we had a late train out and so the staff let us keep our big suitcase with them after check out time so we would continue exploring.

The location is perfect that is very near to the old town, and very easy to come from the Brno main station. Staff are very kind and friendly. The atmosphere is perfect. Very comfortable. I left early in the morning, so that staff prepared take-out breakfast for me and passed me previous evening. It was so helpful for me.

Pension City in Plzen
It's a small pension. The staff is good. The rooms are small but I don't travel to sit around a hotel room. It has a comfortable bed, a toilet and a shower, I don't ask for more. I have stayed there twice, 10 or so days each time, and I expect to stay there again. You can't beat the location.

Nice Budget Accommodation
The location was great - walkable from the train station, Pilsner Urquell, and within the old town. The small breakfast was plenty. We booked a room with the bathroom in the hallway which means there is a small shower and sink within the room and separate locked toilet is in the hallway which only you have access to. I would stay here again but book a room with a full en suite. The location was perfect.

While the location and staff were good, it was noisy at night and cigarette smoke from smokers outside came into our room. A standard double room was two twin beds and the tv didn’t work. We left early.

Great location
The hotel was perfect for a quick stay in Pilsen. Right off of the square, it was convenient to the tram, bars/restaurants and easy walk to the brewery. The room was clean and had character. Staff was friendly. The only drawback was that there were no bathroom amenities or hairdryer. Good breakfast.

Great location. We spent one night only to visit the Pilsen Urquell Brewery. Walking distance to interesting touristic spots in the city. Worth the money since we were not looking for a fancy place. Nice staff, parking included and nice breakfast

Friendly & convenient.
Super friendly staff, great location near heart of city. Property is a bit "dated" as they sometimes are in Czech, but would definitely stay here again.

Extraordinarily Friendly Staff, Comfortable Hotel
This hotel is certainly not fancy. An older building with small rooms and nothing of a lobby, really, the hotel still offered comfortable, functional though not fancy rooms. The location is good but hard to see from the street and parking is difficult to secure on the street. Neighborhood is acceptable and the location is great for walking distance to town square and church. The hotel is excellent for what it is ... affordable ad clean accommodations. Please note that there is no elevator in this three story hotel and I wouldn't recommend staying with small children. The service is quite good, however. The attendant speaks superb, fluent English, is very friendly and knowledgeable about Czech culture and society, and was a true pleasure to speak with and helpful in orienting us to touring and living in the Czech Republic.

Perfect for a quick stay close to the Brewery.
The hotel room was cozy and very clean. There is a common toilet on the floor (2 of them), but you do have your own private bathroom (shower and sink) in the room. The breakfast in the morning was FANTASTIC and the cook lady is very friendly.

Great location, not much else.
This hotel was adequate and clean, but don't expect any frills. The mattress was thin, there is no safe in the room, and be sure to bring your own soap and shampoo. Our tiny room didn't even have room for a bedside table. Shelves were attached to the wall so that one had to stand on the bed to put things on the shelf. There is no air conditioning, so if the weather is hot, be sure to ask for a fan early, as there may only be one. On the bright side, the location is great, a 15 minute walk or 5 minute tram ride from the train station, and right next to the beer museum. The wi-fi was fast and dependable, and the free breakfast was very good, served in a quaint arched cellar.

Close to the brewery and town
We arrived early and they were able to hold our bags so we could explore the city. The room we had was right next to the front entrance but between 10 and 6 we never heard any noise. The room was small but the beds were quite comfortable and the shower worked well. The breakfast included was above expectations and quite good.

Perfect location in Plzen
For the price this is an excellent hotel. The location is great, it is very centrally located close to a small river and a few hundred feet from the town square. The surrounding neighborhood is picturesque and there are several nice restaurants and pubs close by.

Tiny room in cute hotel.
Twin room downstairs and the bathroom were very small, making unpacking sand moving around in the bathroom tricky. Glad I was there only one night. Shower could have more power.

Was ok, staff friendly and breakfast good. No hairdryer or shower gel - not important but if you are travelling light you don't normally have with you. Very well situated - centre 100mtrs and station walkable in15mins - trams take longer and taxi 5mins. Enjoyed Plzen. I found a full day just about covered everything I wanted to see.

Less than I expected
View from room and morning breakfast was the best part of this hotel. Room was incredibly small. Bed was a bunk bed with a thin mattress. Stairs to room were hard to navigate. The staff was ok.

Deserves significant repeat and recommended custom
Extremely friendly and extremely cheap pension a stroll from the station and close to everything in Plzen. Horrible flight delays and relatively infrequent rail service Prague-Plzen meant that I didn't arrive till 1.30am - to find Radek the amiable and efficient receptionist waiting up for me with a smile. There's probably a few of these cheapish places around Plzen, but Pension City wins over because of its hospitality. Taxi drivers know it too. In-room WiFi a boon too. Deserves significant repeat and recommended custom.

Centrally located - Convenient to everything!
What a pleasant surprise it was to see what a great location the Pension City Hotel was in...right in the heart of the historic center of Plzen, close walking distance to everything! Each concierge was completely fluent in English and was very friendly and helpful. This hotel (really a bed & breakfast) has around 9 or 10 rooms. The room we stayed in was very cozy, with a comfortable bed and modern bathroom. Even though it's located in the heart of the city, the room is dead quiet, and perfect for getting a good night's sleep. The breakfast buffet is very nice...it includes 3 or 4 kinds of sausages (note: if you're in the Czech Republic you better get used to eating sausage!), yogurts, cereals, juices, coffee, tea and really great fresh breads...and a few other delights to get you started in the morning. The people who work there are really friendly. If you stay there, you won't be disappointed. The price is right and the comfort and location is super. Only 2 small criticisms: They only have 2 parking spaces, so if you rent a car, there is a possibility that there may not be a space always available, in which case you'll have to park across the street at a cost of around $3. Also, there was no English-speaking channel on the TV. So, if you don't speak Czech, you better bring a good book...but, you know...the area around the hotel is so beautiful you probably won't be spending much time in the room. I highly recommend the Pension City Hotel.

Nice B&B hotel
We spent a weekend in Pension City and it was really nice. Our room was quite small, but comfortable, the furnitures seemed to be quite old, but the room was very clean. The breakfast breakfast was very good, and inspite of the small buffet table we got fresh and delicious food. The stuff was really kind and helpful, especially the guy at the receptiondesk. And the hotel is just in the center of the old town. Perfect place! We had only problem with the parking, because the hotel has only 2 parking places, but you can park for free in the whole city during the weekend and there is a huge parking house in 5 minutes walk which costs 2 euros for a night.

Great hotel in central Plzen.
My stay at this hotel was very good. The location is superb. The main square is very close and there are many pubs and restaurants close by. There is on street parking available a couple hundred meters from the hotel. The room was clean. The bed and pillow were not the most comfortable but not too bad either. The TV worked. The shower had superb water pressure, better than anything I have experienced. The breakfast is fantastic. The front desk person was very friendly and spoke great English. The price is very good.

施設情報には最終チェックイン時間は20時と記載されていたのに、19時迄にチェックインする様に強要され、それ以降になるとフロントに人が居なくなると言われた。鍵は花壇に置いておくと言われ、花壇の鍵を探す為に手が泥だらけになった。

Sehr gute Frühstückstheke. Hotelrezeption war nicht besetzt und nicht telefonisch erreichbar. Wir haben normale Doppelzimmer mit frühstück und Parkplatz. Es gab kein Parkplatz und das Zimmer war alles zu eng. Einzige gute war Frühstück und Lage. Ich habe mich vorher online angemeldet. Das hätte ich sparen können. Es hat nicht funktioniert
