Casa Cenote Hotel - Cenote & Ocean Front Queen Room

Welcome to our Ocean front Queen room, where rustic meets the soothing rhythm of the waves. Nestled right on the sandy shores, this room offers panoramic views of the turquoise sea, where the horizon melts seamlessly into the sky. Step onto your private deck and breathe in the briny air as you gaze out at the endless expanse of water stretching to the horizon.
Sink into the plush queen-sized bed adorned with soft, organic linens, and let the rhythmic sound of the waves serenade you to sleep. Wake up to the gentle glow of dawn peeking over the ocean, painting the sky in hues of pink and gold.
Whether you're seeking a quiet escape or an adventure by the sea, our rustic oceanfront queen room offers the perfect blend of coastal charm and tranquil relaxation for an unforgettable beachfront getaway.
Our property is sandwiched between the Ocean and the famous Cenote Manatee. The cenote forms an underground cave below the hotel and comes up in the ocean where there are schools of tropical fish! Enjoy our Casa Cenote Restaurant and have an ice-cold beer or margarita overlooking the ocean. A perfect way to get away from it all and enjoy the purity of Mexico
Rates include breakfast, kayak, snorkel, & paddle board rentals, a/c, included maid service, mini fridges, linens, towels and purified bottled water. A secluded pool is available in front of the room and the cenote is located across the street. Go kayaking, snorkeling, swimming or scuba diving in this freshwater oasis that goes 7km into the mangrove.

Beautiful Area!
We loved our stay. The location is perfect. Our bed was less than twenty steps to the water and we slept to the sound of the waves. It appears there is no place left as authentic as this one in the area. Gary is a great host. I can still taste the homemade guacamole and habanero sauce. I would eat it all day if I could. Thank you for helping us relax.

Secluded Convenience on the Beach
We stayed at the casa for 5 nights in January 2018. It was a perfect contrast to our previous, relatively rugged travels in Panama. We wanted ample time to relax on the beach, with convenient access to the features of the area -- scuba diving, cenotes, Tulum, ruins -- and this bungalow delivered in spades. Aaron and the staff on-hand are extremely considerate and worked diligently to ensure our needs were met. The room was spacious and fit well for me and my girlfriend. The view from the beach is incredible, delivering beautiful sunrises each morning, and the reef is healthy all around the area. If you are willing to swim out a bit -- the surf is generally mild -- you can see vibrant reef life without driving. Across the street, there is an open air cenote that attracts a consistent stream of daytime visitors, and there are probably 10 cenotes within a 10 mile radious. There's a scuba shop on premises -- Manati Divers -- that are equipped for scuba, snorkeling, or fishing, and a restaurant -- Casa Cenote -- with good seafood and dangerously strong drinks (the jefe, Oscar, was gracious and personally accommodating, which we thoroughly appreciated). Though we spent much of our time at the property, we also spent a fair amount of time in Tulum and surrounding areas. We thought visiting the Tulum ruins at sunrise (before 8am) was pretty exceptional (though crowded during the main hours of the day). In addition to enjoying the local graiffiti and art in Tulum, we found some spots worth mentioning: Chamico's, a beach spot with excellent fish (ceviche and whole), great snorkeling on Soliman Bay, cheap massages; El Pez for brunch; and Arca for dinner. Our stay was memorable and enjoyable, and we would certainly return. The value and experience here is worth it. I would, of course, recommend renting a car when staying here due to the convenience. Taxis are highly available, but the expense would be persistent throughout the stay.

A little piece of paradise!
Not quite sure I want to share with the world, I want to be greedy. But the owner and staff deserve a five star, 10 if I could, review. Quaint, beautiful, amazing location, delicious food, amazing margaritas, excellent staff. All of that plus a beautiful cenote right across the street. Absolutely no complaints! If you go say hi to Ruby for me, I'll let her introduce herself. Tip...she will not eat the chips.
