When you arrive at the property, if you’re arriving by car, there’s free underground parking available at Aldea Thai. Just ask the guard where to park. Also, if you’re driving around Playa, be aware there are PARKING METERS in effect from Monday to Sunday, 10 am to 10 pm. You have to look for the parking kiosk, pay, and display your receipt on your car’s dashboard. Luckily, this property is so centrally-located you can easily walk to many places in town. For any sightseeing or activity further away, you can easily rent a bike, take a taxi, or go by ‘colectivo’ (shared-ride vans) where you need to go. There is no daily housekeeping service, but cleaning services can be requested for an additional fee. We do supply some bath essentials to get you started, like some toilet paper, and soap. These items are not replenished each time you run out. The condo is located in a complex that provides 24/7 security. There’s an extra charge for additional guests/visitors over the capacity of the property. Please note that there is a mandatory cleaning service every from 21 nights on & every 21 days, at a charge of $50 USD. If your stay is between 21 and 42 nights, you'll be charged an additional $50; for stays between 42 and 63 nights, two cleaning fees ($100 total) will apply, and for every additional 21 nights thereafter, $50 will be charged. Please make sure to return your bracelets to reception upon check out. A penalty of $12 USD per missing bracelet will apply otherwise. Guests will be requested to sign a Rental Agreement upon booking confirmation. A security deposit may be required prior to arrival, subject to the booking platform used to make the reservation. This fee is charged as a credit card transaction and refunded after check-out, provided all terms are met. Pets are not allowed at this property. Please also note that the property uses surveillance cameras on the premises. These cameras are strictly for security reasons only. The mast bathroom had a jaccuzzi tub that you have to step into to shower. It is rather dangerous. Don’t book this if you have any handicaps. The condos were remodeling and the new pool deck is very nice. But the pool bar was closed and dirty and there was a ton of maintenance going on that we were not made aware of prior to our arrival. It will be very nice when they have everything done but was frustrating to arrive and not have been notified or give. A price reduction. ##### Suzette C. Lovely grounds and Great access to beach and the surrounding community was nice. Restaurants within minutes Vimex management group took care of all of our needs. Easy check in. Great communication. We are timeshare owners with Royal Resorts. This was a wonderful change and we will revisit the property. ##### William C. It’s a block away from 5th avenue and steps from the beach. The unit was spacious and two bathrooms was a luxury as we traveled with teenagers. ##### Tanya B. Very nice condo with large pool right outside the room. The pool had a bar where you could order drinks and food. There was also a small pool on the main patio, which was very convenient. However, the pool was not clean- I would suggest if you plan to use it, to ask the host to have it cleaned before your arrival. Very close access to the beach. Technically the property is on the beach, but to access the beach, you must exit the main entrance and walk on the street (Calle 28) to get there but it wasn’t a problem. I brought a car and parking was very convenient. The check in and check out process was very smooth and friendly. The host was very responsive and addressed all questions and issues quickly. The overall vibe of the facility was calm and serene, reminiscent of style and vibes in Thailand. ##### Sam M.
