"Very nice house in very good condition and beautiful location. Wonderful view from the outside table. Doors and windows have screens. Kitchen is functional and well-equipped. Beds are comfortable and don't sag. Lighting inside the house is good. Clothes-drying rack is big enough to be functional. It's a short walk into La Pieve (though you do have to watch out for cars a bit in the first part of the walk). La Pieve is a very pleasant and interesting little place, with a nice bookstore and a good-sized eleventh-century church, not to mention cafes, bars, etc. Co-op supermarket is very close by; you can walk there if you are ambitious enough to carry your groceries back; otherwise, it is a short drive. Our only minor criticism is that we would recommend upgrading the pillows to something thicker and more substantial. Owner is very pleasant to interact with."

"What an amazing month long stay we had. From the very beginning our host Serena was responsive, caring, warm and most helpful. On our day of checkin she arranged to meet us in the local town to take us to this gem of a property and help us settle in.It is a beautiful country home nestled in the olive groves, with luxurious gardens, including a running stream, multiple patios with beautiful stone work and an outdoor grill. The views of the mountains above the groves of olives are outstanding. The numerous fruit trees, and kiwi vines immerse one in being in Tuscany.The home is spacious. We easily settled in and felt we were "home away from home". The beds are super comfortable, and the baths large and spacious by European standards. There is an abundantly supplied kitchen and dining area with sufficient items to host large gatherings and families. We enjoyed dining outside most days in the lovely spring weather, surrounded by the blooming fruit and olive trees, under blue skies and lovely sun, while serenaded by the running stream.The location in the mountains provided a quiet setting - no traffic noises! There is an amazing masseuse living in a nearby property which we delighted in more than once. We found a place to drop off the laundry and return the next day to pick it up, clean and nicely folded. We enjoyed local walks and day trips to the sea and inland within Tuscany which were easy and enjoyable.We look forward to returning to the serenity and romance!"

"It is a beautiful property, Silvia and Antonio are great hosts and now friends, they were very kind and thoughtful, Antonio had a bottle of Chianti ready for us at arrival and Silvia made a great dessert for us the second day,unforgettable stay. I firgot my Drivers Licence and a credit card and Antonio mailed it to the US the nact day!Thank you Silvia and Antoinio, we'll be back!"

"A stunningly beautiful property with amazing views. This was our 2nd visit in the last 8 years and the owner has made a few improvements such as adding A/C but without compromising the Tuscan charm. We love this villa!! A particular highlight was a local chef Daniela coming to prepare a delicious 4 course meal for us - including the best tiramisu we’ve ever had!
