We loved being right in the gorge and close to so many amazing hikes, including a little right on sight. The house was definitely a cabin and had a little dust and spiders the first night but it cleaned up quickly. The driveway in was a little intimidating as well but the house was beautiful and so peaceful. The upstairs room never cooled down enough to really use and the tub took too long to fill but it was hot so we didn’t really mind. We loved the view and location! We all had to resort to the top level shower, which was an inconvenience to some members of the family. It’s on a very secluded road with a few other cabins, but you would never know it, which I LOVED! You can literally walk out on the back porch upstairs and reach out and touch the mountain side. So gorgeous!! They also were happy to host our entire family, including our 120 lb Great Pyrenees. We absolutely loved that it was pet friendly. There was so much room to accommodate all of us and plenty of extra towels and bedding in case we needed it. I asked if we could show up a couple hours early for check in so we could get set up and do some grocery shopping, Corrie was gracious enough to make the home available early. We had a couple questions about things throughout our stay and Corrie was SO responsive! Definitely the best host that I have ever dealt with.
