Fantastic Peacful Spot
I had a wonderful stay! Everything was very clean and well stocked. The linens and towels were soft, and all instructions for check in and checkout were very clear. I would definitely love to come back!

Our Second Time at This Place
This was our second time staying at this little getaway, and we enjoyed it just as much as the first. The host is very easy to contact if you have any questions and it’s a wonderful location. The property is very relaxing with so many places to sit outside any time of day, but it’s also still very close to the quaint town of Pine. Will use it again in the future.

Very nice property with beautiful views and wildlife.
Very pleased with property and location. As advertised...very serene and cozy. Enjoyed sitting on the deck with a cup of coffee and watching elk feed and stroll on by within a few feet. A very nice experience my family and I will always remember.

Cute but not what it seems
It was a beautiful property, but the porch was very worn down and never seemed safe to walk on. And the handrail for the stairs to the porch was very wobbly. And while my dog was welcomed, the location made it impossible to walk him safely. Just a note for any dog owners. Also, it is a wood pellet fireplace and there wasn’t enough for my stay and no instructions on whether we needed to buy our own or contact the owner. If I had to buy more, I would have planned for such. But I felt odd contacting the owner for that when I feel extra should be left at the property. Other than what was by the fireplace.

The pictures are a little deceptive regarding the deck. We were hoping to spend time on the deck but there were a lot of splinters and weathered furniture. Needs some repairs but overall a very nice place to stay. We enjoyed it and would stay again.

Nice touches from an experienced VRBO host.
Most everything was in order, with a few minor exceptions. Touches that were nice included spices, seasonings, sauces, syrups, ice in the freezer, coffee, a nice array of cookware, and plentiful wildlife and thunderstorms. Easy to find, and remote, but not too remote. This was a nice getaway for us and our grandson.

pet poop left around the firepit. Cushions left out and wet. Couldnt sit outside to many bugs. Dryer took five times to dry clothes. Glasses had to be washed before we could use them as they were filthy. Bugs in the ceiling lamps.

My son and I were thoroughly happy with this property. Communication with the host was easy. Weather was warm and thank goodness there was a window AC in my bedroom and a portable init in the living room that kept the othe bedroom cool. Due to fire restriction we couldn't use the firepit so that was a bummer. The only minor issue is the steep driveway. I am disabled and the stairs leading up to the house were not steep. I had no issue walking up the stairs. The whole experience was very good and relaxing...I will be rebooking in the future...

Host was amazing at getting back with me quickly with answers to questions. Great location close to shops and restaurants. Elk sightings were awesome. I was unable to hike up the trail behind the house due to recent knee surgery so will definitely have to rent again to check that out. Overall the house was great. The only suggestion I have for the host is to make sure the cleaning company or person is throughly cleaning the cabin. I saw several places with cobwebs and dust.

It was just perfect and comfortable! We were right at check in time, 4pm but was not ready until 5pm because of cleaning. It was also warm in the cabin during daybut cooled down and was comfortable in the evening, it wasn't a problem for us, just noted it. We will be back! Thank you

Family time
Overall the place is great for family and fur babies however the deck although large needs alit of work If you have little dogs you need extra fencing to put up as the board are not secure in places and the side that has the shade the boards are far apart and the floor on deck their feet can slip through even our border collie had that happen to her so my daughter brought up an outdoor large rug and we put that in the area we fenced off for them No fireworks which is what we wanted for our dogs to not be scared and my daughters family just went into Payson to watch the fireworks!

Relaxing stay In the Pines
The cabin had everything you would need for your stay and was quite cozy. We really enjoyed having our coffee in the morning and being surprised by a group of elk, a mother and her babies. The only drawback was the steep driveway, as we have a low clearance car. We would stay here again!

Beautiful surroundings, nice place. My son said it’s a house, not a cabin, since it has everything. We saw lots of elk nearby. The outdoor furniture is very comfy and we enjoyed grilling and eating on the deck. One of the beds is very tall and would be hard for someone who is older to climb in and out of, I think. We had everything we needed plus some, except for shampoo and soap for the shower, which I didn’t realize I needed to bring. Easy check in and location is super easy to find and get to. There is a main road right below the property which is made it feel a little less private, but the hiking path behind the house was awesome.

Great Mountain Getaway
My wife and I enjoyed getting away for a few days in this property. Although it is right by the road, it was very quiet and had great views of the mountains and starry skies at night. The rental had all that we needed to make some simple meals during our stay. If you are looking for a nice, affordable stay up in the pine/strawberry area this is the place!

Peaceful getaway
We enjoyed our time getting out of the city. The host was very responsive and accommodating. It was more of a neighborhood setting than we thought it would be but still beautiful. Everything is private property so it was a bit challenging to find places to walk the dogs other than along the street. Only suggestion is to provide more supplies like paper towels.:)

This place was awesome. We seen elk on the property everyday. We will look into staying again. The only thing I ask is that your cleaners clean all cobwebs behind bed in back. Lots of them. Other than that we loved it.

Cozy Cabin in the Trees
Interior very clean and just as pictures. All the amenities listed with exception of bed size. These are full size beds not queen but fine for our needs. As expressed in previous reviews the exterior deck needs an overhaul but don't judge the outside deck when you arrive because the inside makes up for it. Know replacing that deck is a very major expense! Loved the trail in back up to the view and we had elk in the yard! We had our pup with us and she was mesmerized with the wildlife viewing and I wanted to add there is amazing walkable street straight across from the driveway down country roads and across the creek Bridge! We also walked on the main road, it is not that busy this time of year.. Gorgeous scenery. Overall the cabin is comfortable, homey and cozy!! We would rent again.

Lovely getaway with elk and surprise snow!
We were looking for a place that felt a little more secluded and woodsey and quaint, and this fit all three. We loved the windows with picture perfect views of trees all around, and a short walk up to some amazing views. It snowed the entire few days (just after Christmas)...SO beautiful. We saw elk close-up. It had everything we needed to be comfortable, and play lots of games inside, as well as sit outside and read and think and pray.

Quaint cozy home.
Just like other reviews, this home was as described.. Was clean and cozy, pellet fireplace kept home warm. I had a great stay, will recommend!! Was only there for the evening hours, so cannot say what the day/daily neighborhood was like. I'm sure the outdoor firepit would've been great to use!!

This was our 2nd time staying here and plan to come back next year! Cozy house. Beautiful neighborhood w/ elk that visit daily and great restaurants near by. Who could ask for a better getaway.
