It is a short walk into Picton where there are eateries and bars. It was cheap and cheerful, and the gentleman on the desk was very friendly, welcoming and helpful. I only made coffee in the kitchen but it looked well stocked. The room itself was a little shabby and could do with a deep clean (carpet a bit stained, cobwebs in the corners), but bedding, toilet, shower etc were all clean, and the bed was comfortable, and the room cooled down pleasantly in the evening after a warm day. This time it was looking very tired and grotty. Also I booked a 4 bed family suite. I did not realise this meant 1 small room with bunks and single bed. No bathroom.
