"A simple and basic stopover but worked Ok for us. We were able to park motorbike around the side of the hotel and it felt safe. We walked into town and found a nice friendly restaurant with lovely local food, excellent value. It was a served breakfast, simple but very nice, in particular wonderful warm bread."

" A quietly brilliant stay. The welcome was warm without the fuss, the beds were the sink-into-oblivion kind, and the shower actually understood the assignment. Breakfast — light, thoughtful, and included in the room rate — felt like a small act of generosity rather than an upsell. I even left with a pot of local bee pollen from the lounge, because restraint is overrated. Parking was easy, the internet behaved itself, and there’s a supermarket a couple of minutes away for any last-minute cravings. Calm, considered, and doing exactly what it should — beautifully. "

All in all a wonderful place to stay not far from Portugal Spanish border. Listing did not say that whilst it was off a listed road it was not now the main road so was quiet.Hotel refurbished a year or so ago and is popular with locals always a good sign "
