The Space: The Ritz Waters at Ocotillo home is located on the lake in a tranquil, golfing community, with plenty of entertainment opportunities nearby. This home includes 5 bedrooms and 3.5 baths, all furnished with the best Revive mattresses and Pottery Barn linens, perfect for a cozy night’s rest. The large open living space allows for ease of entertainment while making dinner in a fully equipped kitchen, conversing on the new couches in the living room, or enjoying a game of pool. Additionally, there is a second living room in the en suite, perfect for a second family to share the property or a private movie night. This, one-of-a-kind waterfront property offers great lake views where you can relax and unwind while enjoying a dip in the pool or basking in the sunlight on the patio. This is a great location for enjoying the golfing community at the beautiful nearby golf course or take advantage of the short commute to some great shopping, dining, and other entertainment venues in the nearby community. The pool was set to warm at our request, and it was a real treat to lounge around in, even on cold winter mornings and evenings. There’s a nice dining table outside next to the pool, a pit BBQ surrounded by the pool, lounge chairs and umbrellas, and a little fire pit on the side lawn. The master bedroom and bath are fantastic, the other rooms I’d rate as just average. We ran into many little problems which did distract from the overall luxury feel. For instance: the microwave had to be held closed by hand in order to turn on, the dishwasher has these odd arms that stick out into the upper tray and get in the way, there isn’t a full set of measuring cups or spoons which was a real hassle as we made Christmas dinner, the tv remote is nearly incomprehensibly complicated, the bumpers on the pool table are falling off in two sections which messes up any ball that hits in that area, and the trash basket in the kitchen is on a sliding device that is falling apart. None of these things was bad enough to drop my star rating, but when you’re paying over a thousand dollars a day, they shouldn’t be there. Communication with the owner was very good. He went out of his way to provide a high chair for our granddaughter, and answered all my questions quickly.The location is in the suburbs, so there’s a 20-30 minute drive to get to just about anywhere. The house is located in a very nice neighborhood. Overall, we enjoyed the house very much. ##### Richard L. Kitchen had everything you need to entertain, refrigerator was stocked with waters and sodas and bathrooms had lotion, soap, shampoo and conditioner. We hated to leave it. Both surpassed any and all expectations. Worth every penny. I've never experienced a more responsive and accommodating host. The property was beautifully appointed and stocked with everything anyone could need. If we could've stayed a month, we would have. A family wedding had seven adults in the house, and no one tripped each other or felt constrained. The backyard was a delight, as was the rest of the house. The area was quiet and the location was so close to other stores which it was convenient. The host responded so quickly and handle our corcerns. There were extra touches everywhere that made us feel at home and the owners were quick to answer any questions. Christian is awesome!! The 9pm outdoor curfew was a bit disappointing for a weekend trip where it was in the 100s and we wanted to take advantage of the pool/bbq amenities at night.
