My only complaint was the bar and restaurant was closed because there was no staff there to operate and we arrived hungry and tired. The room was clean and comfortable.

The hotel was very nice, but a bit on the expensive side. That said, the room was very comfortable. Only real issue we had was the team of girls soccer players that ran the halls and made a lot of noise. Not really the hotel’s fault, but at $300/night not what I would expect. They did try and contain them after enough complaints.

Old Style Bathroom
Bathroom needs updating. For what we paid, there should have been a walk in shower and not a shower/ tub combo. The floor wasn’t very clean.

Rate increase and Zero protein breakfast.
This property would be a solid 4 stars if it weren't for 2 things: 1. After Christmas, we wanted to stay 1 extra night. The front desk would not honor our existing rate. Instead, quoted a higher price. However, they did suggest going online to Expedia.com to book at a better rate. WHAT? We switched hotels, which was highly inconvenient. 2 Continental Breakfast was $9.00/per person for all-carb, zero protein choices.

It’s our go to place when visiting my sons in Phoenix. Convenient, clean and I feel safe about the area. The beds are very comfortable and I sleep well

When I checked in the acted as if I was bothering him. No greeting, just a terse "Do you have a room here?" All of the other staff was wonderful. Also, I specifically booked the hotel for the pool, and the pool was closed. I wish I would have known that before booking.
