Hikers, bikers, horse back riders and golfers will love this home's ideal location. Usery Mountain Regional Park and Desert Arroyo Park with its protected desert habitat are a mere 5 minute drive and offer miles of looped trail systems of all levels. Mesa is one of the premiere golf destinations in the Southwest and home to notable golf clubs and resorts such as Las Sendas, Longbow, Toka Sticks, Augusta and Painted Mountain. Beautiful Saguaro Lake is a 20 minute commute through stunning desert landscape. The lake features a boat launch, restaurant and picnic areas. Guests can rent a boat or take a cruise on their tour boat. \~ DESERT SANCTUARY \~ Our home's exciting backyard amenities include a pool with optional heat, spa, gas grill and covered patio. The pool heat is $75.00 per night to heat the pool to 80º F. Gather round the fire pit when the evenings turn cool; warm up your golf shots on the private putting green. Citrus trees in the backyard provide seasonal and exceptionally tasty fresh fruit. The house itself isn't overly fancy, but the backyard is perfect for hosting and for a big family. The thing I appreciated the most is all the "extras" the house provided. I have stayed in so many places where they give you the bare minimum. We had a ton of pool toys, plenty of toilet paper, paper towels, trash bags, soap, etc. That is so rare in a VRBO. Plus, they leave things that other guests have left, like sunscreen, sun hats, ziploc bags, and even alcohol. We really appreciated all this and added to the "stuff". We would definitely stay here again. Plus - having comfortable king-sized beds in every room was priceless. ##### Dawn S. The salt river where you can do river tubing is bery close and the we found beautiful hiking areas. A short drive from Mesa airport and close to all sorts of places to go and see. When you need to just rest and relax, this is your place as the backyard pool and patio is the perfect setting and you even have a putting green to sharpen that golf game if that is your thing.
