I enjoyed my stay at this hotel. The room was clean, comfortable, secure. Everything worked. The furnishings were not new but were in decent shape. Don’t hesitate to book here because the property is about a 15 minute walk to the riverside. Yes, in PP’s heat that may seem far, but Tuk Tuk rides via Grab are usually under $2 back and forth. Also, the distance from riverside keeps the hotel quiet at night. In addition, if your interest in PP goes beyond just boozing by the river, this hotel is actually closer to some of the city’s historical/cultural attractions. My only gripe (and it’s a minor one) is that housekeeping starts making their rounds before 9AM! While it’s best to get out early in PP, sometimes you just want to sleep in. Notwithstanding, all the staff I interacted with were pleasant, polite and efficient, including the housekeeping staff. Staff were polite and service was good. But the restaurant at the hotel said they close at about 8.00pm. For business people it is inconvenient as they cannot dine in the hotel they stay.
