"The property is old and dated, but expected with the price point. We stayed for a sold out concert. If you just need a place to lay your head, this would be fine. The staff was very friendly and even though the room was dated, it was clean. They even left us a goodie bag of treats (more than what I've received from higher rated places. I felt safe and over all I would stay there again. "

"Not like the pictures. Definitely not worth the price. The carpet was sticky, the chair was full of cigarette burns, the room smelled like smoke. The lights did not have shades or covers on them, the pillows were stained and not in protectors, the mattress protector was stained with clean sheets on top. The sink had been painted, but had since cracked and flaked. The shower did not appear to be cleaned, there was the last people's soap wrapper in the shower curtain rings. The bathroom door looked like it had only ever been touched with black greasy hands. The door was almost totally off the hinges. You had to push the door into the hinge and then try to shut the door, which it wouldn't fully shut. We had driven for 24 hrs prior to arrival, so the staff was very nice in letting us check in early, but definitely told us that his head housekeeper would be upset. ....we felt we were given the 'per hour' room... When we checked in, there was a text that came through asking how our check in went and how staff could help us settle in further. All of these concerns were outlined then. We slept on our car blankets on top of the bed spreads because we were so exhausted, but when we spoke to the front desk about our concerns, he said he had no idea where that text came from and still charged us for one night. Dont let the pics fool you. Its not a nice place."

"My stay at the Holiday Inn was overall comfortable and convenient. The check-in process was smooth, and the staff were friendly and helpful during my stay. The room was clean, spacious, and provided all the basic amenities needed for a relaxing visit. The bed was comfortable, and I appreciated having a quiet environment that made it easy to rest after a long day. The hotel’s location was practical, with easy access to nearby restaurants and main roads, which made getting around Plainview simple. There is also a Walmart nearby, which was very convenient for picking up snacks, travel essentials, and anything needed during the stay."

"Hotel was clean. It is a VERY minimal hotel - no frills at all which is fine. It was weird to not have a shower curtain - had to direct the water to the back wall in order to not flood the bathroom. The lock on the door didn't work. This was corrected when the manager came by to see why there wasn't cleaning service reported (we left the card out because we didn't need anything). It is noisy as our room was RIGHT BY THE HIGHWAY. They did provide earplugs which is thoughtful. Overall clean, tidy; good service. Breakfast is NOT breakfast, unless you drink coffee and only eat muffins for breakfast. Again, likely my fault for not reading the fine print. I needed an inexpensive, safe, clean place to stay - this fit those needs."
