Waterfront A-Frame — Walkable Pepin & River Views
A waterfront A-Frame on Lake Pepin with sweeping river views and one of the most walkable locations in town. Just down the street from Harbor View Café and The Pickle Factory, and close to Villa Bellezza and Woods & Co., it’s an easy, comfortable place to stay for wedding weekends, romantic getaways, or creative retreats.
Welcome to The Dockside — perched right on the marina with sweeping views of Lake Pepin’s widest waters and bluffs beyond.
Inside, the tall cedar-clad ceilings and large windows bring the water and sky right into the space. It’s open and light but still cozy, with places to gather, write, sketch, read, or just sit out on the large private balcony and watch the river move.
The layout works especially well for wedding weekends — open common areas, comfortable seating, and space for two couples to stay comfortably, with room for friends to gather before or after events at Villa Bellezza or Woods & Co.
The main level flows easily between living, dining, and kitchen areas, and you’ll find additional sleeping space upstairs via the spiral staircase. Downstairs, the master bedroom with its own view offers a peaceful place to close the door and rest.
Guests often mention how quickly they relax here — that time seems to slow just a bit when you wake up with that water view.
Highlights: - Waterfront views right from the balcony and main living areas - Light-filled, open A-frame design with cathedral ceilings - Cedar accents and thoughtful, comfortable furnishings - Comfortable for up to two couples, with flexible extra sleeping arrangements - Steps away from the marina and scenic riverside paths
Perfect for: - Couples looking for a romantic, waterfront escape - Families - Wedding guests attending events at Villa Bellezza or Woods & Co. - Creative travelers seeking inspiring views and quiet mornings - Friends or two couples traveling together who value shared space

Everything about our experience here was wonderful! Very well stocked kitchen, super clean, great location, and Peter was a fantastic host. We can’t wait to stay again soon!
We enjoyed our extended family stay! The lake view was beautiful, and weenjoyed the trains coming by. The kitchenwas arranged nicely for cooking. The beds we’re very comfortable.
It was a very unique place. It was off season for Pepin but it was very relaxing and fun. There are trains but we kinda enjoyed the rumble! Towns close by were very fun also. We did walk around town and enjoyed a couple places to eat.
So conveniently located near restaurants, the harbor and public beach. The host was so great to work with and we loved the overall atmosphere of the interior of the cabin.
Really enjoyed this property! Very cozy and welcoming. No need to bring coffee or tea. Great tea selection. Pete (host) was very helpful and responded quickly when I had any questions.Everything was very clean and beds were comfortable.
We were in town for a wedding and needed a place that was good for a small family gathering. This comfy little A frame is close to cafe’s, bars, and the marina. Perfect deck for morning coffee and breakfast!
