The cottage sits in a slightly elevated position close to the great local amenities of Trewellard and Pendeen, with a selection of pubs serving great local food and ales as well as a small shop.
St Just is two miles away and offer a variety of shops including a small supermarket, chemist, butchers and variety of super cafes and pubs. Also where you will find Kurt Jackson’s (famous Cornish artist) art gallery.
The area is popular with walkers as it is within easy walking distance of the coastal paths with the dramatic coastline and mining heritage which gave the setting for the Poldark TV series. Nearby is Pendeen lighthouse which links the coastal path, past the famous Crown Mines which are dotted along the cliff face to the breathtaking Cape Cornwall, with its wild rocky outcrops.
The location is perfect for exploring the delights of west Cornwall and is in easy reach of the beautiful, white sandy beach of Sennen Cove, popular with surfers. Visit legendary Lands End, the famous Minack open-air theatre at Porthcurno or take the scenic coastal drive from Pendeen to St Ives, passing heather clad moorland and the pretty ancient village of Zennor with its pub, historical church and tales of mermaids.
Trewellard is ideal for guests looking to explore further with Lands End airport offering day trips to the beautiful Isles of Scilly or the daily Scillonian ferry service from nearby Penzance. St Michael’s Mount proudly overlooks the wide sweeping beach of Mounts Bay and historical town of Marazion.
The area is great for families or couples all year round from lazy summer beach days to wild winter stormy walks along the expanse of coastline during the quieter winter months, returning to cosy up in front of the wood burner. Beach 2¾ miles. Shop ¼ mile, pub 800 yards and restaurant 1 mile.

We had a wonderful holiday at Number 19.
We had a wonderful holiday at Number 19. The cottage was very comfortable, clean, well equipped and beautifully and thoughtfully presented with a great history. There are fantastic local pubs, cafes and it is a walkable distance to the beach. Eric and Sally were both very friendly and welcoming too and gave great advice on what to do and places to go within the local area. We're not ones to return to the same place but we are planning to return here. Thank you for our wonderful stay!

Wow! What a truly superb cottage.
Wow! What a truly superb cottage. We have stayed in numerous cottages over many years and Number 19 is by far the very best! Everything you could possibly want for your holiday is there- the location is perfect and the cottage itself has been so thoughtfully designed and stylishly equipped.
