Overall, we had a very pleasant stay. The rental property was clean and was ideally located right next to the beach. The beds and furniture were very comfortable, and all of the essentials were in good working order. The check-in process was a bit odd, as we arrived on a Sunday, and the office was closed. We were guided by the on-site security to a lock box for our keys and information about the property, and had to go to the office on Monday to do a formal "check in". Not a problem...just a little odd, because some information about the property and the surrounding area would have been helpful. My only proposals for improvement regarding the rental property itself are very minor. I would suggest perhaps having a Keurig available, as opposed to the provided coffee maker, since most people don't make full pots of coffee anymore. Also, perhaps some instructions regarding the television and sound system in the unit would be helpful, as there were about 6 remotes, and it was difficult figuring out which one operated which tv, and I never did figure out the sound system. Regardless, our stay was very enjoyable, and we would definitely return to The Matador in the future.
