"Absolutely magical stay and the highlight of our month long trip. This place is amazing and remarkably affordable this time of year (late September) Staying in an 11th century castle with suites rooms that have had the essentials very cleverly modernised without losing the stunning authenticity of the castle. Paolo took us on a wonderful tour of the castle including into its depths explaining all the history. Francesco was wonderful in making sure we were taken care of and Laura is an amazing chef. The breakfast has to be seen to be believed. This is a family owned property they have inherited and they have done an incredibly job of preserving and enhancing it. You wake up in the morning and have to pinch yourself to make sure you are not still dreaming. It even has EV charging in the car park which was great for us. (you don't want to pay European petrol prices!) We enjoyed ourselves so much we are making it our anniversary holiday stay every year from now on."

"The staff were nice and helpful, very clean room . The hotel offered delightful breakfast, variety of fresh fruits and pastries, and fruit juices. Parking is free . Overall , we enjoyed our 4 night stay and will definitely book in this hotel again next time we visit to Monte San Guisto."

"Abbiamo trascorso una settimana meravigliosa all’Old Country House. Già al nostro arrivo abbiamo ricevuto un’accoglienza calorosa da parte della padrona di casa Claudia, una persona davvero simpatica e cordiale: ci ha accolti con un buffet di benvenuto e tante informazioni interessanti e utili sul paese e sulla sua gente.La casa si trova in posizione elevata rispetto al paesaggio, la vista è da sogno e già di per sé è rilassante... La casa è arredata con grande cura. Ci hanno particolarmente colpito la cucina perfettamente attrezzata e i comodi materassi, che ci hanno regalato un sonno ristoratore... I nostri bambini sono rimasti entusiasti della grande piscina rotonda, che offriva molto spazio.La casa invita a soffermarsi, ma ci sono anche tante belle possibilità di escursioni. Tra le altre cose, i Monti Sibillini ci sono piaciuti molto e lì abbiamo fatto una splendida escursione. Il mare dista circa un’ora di macchina e un’altra attrazione è stato il piccolo teatro proprio a Penna San Giovanni. Grazie, Claudia, per questo posto incantevole, curato con amore. Ci siamo trovati davvero bene!"

"Gorgeous, spacious property. The pool lived up to expectations and was very clean. Beautiful peaceful setting, with attendant wildlife (lizards, bats, beetles etc). Lack of air con mediated by the relatively cool nature of the house, and ceiling fans help a little; and great that windows have mosquito mesh (though this is missing or damaged in places). The road down from the village to the house is pretty twisty and steep, but managed it fine. Wouldn't want to do it too many times a day. Love that there are two outdoor seating areas. NB, in case kids are set on it, there is no trampoline anymore and the swing set is a little aged. Loved the balcony view from Vecchi Sapori restaurant in Penna."

"I arrived around 9:00pm and I had been given clear instructions on how to get into the building including codes and the process was really easy I had a WhatsApp number and was in contact with management throughout giving me instructions on how to access my room My room had everything that I needed it was clean and really cozy when I put the bedside lights on The bathroom was spacious and really clean The room had amenities such as Tea Fruit tea and coffee and complimentary water in the mini fridge which was very welcome after a long travel x I was in Fermo to attend my nephews wedding he was marrying a local girl and unfortunately I had broken my travel iron on my Rome trip so I text management over WhatsApp to ask if they had one for me and they did!!! Which was a life saver thank you very much x I really enjoyed my stay at Lido it was in the perfect location for me right on the beach and also right in the middle of the late night markets which were amazing It is also close to an amazing gelato place just to the side of the hotel x you have to try I also loved the vending machines inside and outside of the apartments But remember if you want alcohol you have to have a Italian ID card but the lovely locals helped me with that x Thank you for making my stay in Fermo so relaxed x"
