In a great location for Jomtien, right opposite the beach. Staff are pleasant, breakfast was fine, although limited choice, overall a great value hotel.

Budget Beachfront hotel with balcony
Stayed at the boathouse for 2 nights, it was clean and great value for money. Staff were very helpful, welcoming and friendly and would not hesitate to recommend to anyone looking for a budget good value for money hotel. Food downstairs in restaurant was tasty and reasonably priced.

Air conditioning was not effective so very stuffy in the room, in the advertising it said off road parking , the parking is in public parking bays in the road so we were lucky to have a parking place

Old world charm in an oriental setting
An old rustic looking beachfront hotel with balconies overlooking the ocean. Just its outward appearance gave it a charm which is hard to find in these days of glass and chrome. The bar and restaurant area were well maintained with the food being a great choice of European and Thai. I tried both during my 6 day stay and found no complaints in either style. The service was more than adequate, not only in the bar and restaurant, but overall with the housekeeping staff deserving special mention.

As there are no elevators, those with 'stair difficulties' need to book lower floor or bool elsewhere. There are no tea/coffee making facilities in the rooms - these would make a big difference. Staff are consistently friendly and helpful. Rooms are well maintained and clean. Have stayed here a number of times and experience has been consistently the same as that in May 2018.

Old world charm
Value for money hotel. The hotel has a old-world, colonial feel which distinguishes it from a typical hotel. However the staff is a little too hung up on check out times. I felt that they could allow for late check outs, at least for guests who stay long. On the other hand they're pretty flexible on check in times, which helps for early check ins.

Good place to stay but Hotel staff unfriendly.
I have stayed here on a number of occasions and it is OK. Location is fine, just of the beach front and a little walk to the shops, bars and restaurants. The Boat House has its own restaurant but is a bit pricey compared with what else is around. The single problem here is the staff. They have no communication skills whatsoever. Throughout my 8 day stay, not one of Hotel or restaurant staff greeted me. Upon check out, I was the only one who spoke. Not really a problem but it is more comfortable when service is polite.

Very good budget Hotel
Initially we booked for 4 nights but as we were very comfortable here we shelved plans to move to a condo for the next month and instead decided to stay here. The Hotel gave us a very good price which I was happy to accept. We had no complaints about the Hotel, the staff were friendly and I would certainly stay here again. Minor quibbles were the internet signal although quite adequate, was a little weak and we could have done with an extra chair so my wife could sit down at the desk as well. But these were just minor problems and no doubt if I had brought them to the attention of the management they would have rectified them. Good location opposite the beach. I asked for a quiet room on arrival and was given a room at the back of the hotel, not overlooking the beach and main road and this was very quiet with no noise at all. Sleep quality was excellent

Very comfortable, well appointed room, feels like a more expensive hotel than it actually is. The restaurant is great, on of the best on the street I'd say. Downside rooms to the front very noisy on weekends

Just 1 night in between plane trips. Had stayed there before and was comfortable. Previously had front room with seaview but this time not avail. Pity!!! Breakfast is not early so missed it but dinner was tasty and good value. Elvis impersonator was singing there that night. Very good entertainment

Great location in Jomtien
I choose this hotel because it was right on Jomtien beach, and close to dive shops, restaurants, and the night market. Easy access to Pattaya with the frequent buses. The hotel itself is decent, with good facilities and clean rooms. I was especially impressed by the friendly and helpful staff at the desk. They're happy to help you organize your activities. Also the Wi-Fi is pleasantly fast.

The rooms at the Boathouse were nice and there was a nice little balcony with a small table and chairs. Very hot in May, though, and the AC did not keep up with it; this was my only complaint with the room,itself. However, the teenagers were playing loud music from their vehicles at the beach and shooting fireworks (common in this area), so sleep can be elusive. You should note that there is no elevator in this 4- floor hotel; so you must be able to walk the stairs if you stay here.

its was very hot in jomtien,and they have a bad aircon,very old,but its like that in the masth of the hotell in Thailand,they never change gas ,use it so long its work .And this is a European Hotell???and the room its like every one else room ,im go to Jomtien beach condominium and get a good room with new aircon kitchen and pay 8500 bath pr month:-)i tell people if they want a good room fore a month,Go to Jomtien beach condominium,lots of good room there,and 5 minute to the beach,Have a nice summer every one!

Great Location
I had stayed at the Boathouse several times before. Easy to find, warm welcome and great location right opposite the beach. I had a seaview room which gave me a balcony to sit out on and enjoy the view. Some nights they have a very good Elvis impersonator singing in the attached dining room. Food there is quite good and not expensive. Overall very good value for money.

Sehr gemütliches Hotel
Ich habe mich im Boathouse sehr wohl gefühlt. Alle Mitarbeier waren sehr freundlich und immer bereit zu helfen. Das Hotel ist direkt an der Beachroad dadurch etwas lauter durch den Verkehr aber zum Balkon gibt es zwei Türen damit es ruhiger ist im Zimmer. Und der "ElVIS" ist auch sehr gut

Sometime when we order drinks, the Bill only stayed half of what we ordered and they wanted double... I dont know why, when i for example pointed it out they Just gave a discount but they did not fix it... If you order 4 irish Coffee​ you should have the​Bill for 4 not for 2.. And on a paper they said the amount for 4 but for book it was 2. Didnt know what this was about.

Mooi net hotel voor de prijs. Jammer dat je geen koffie kon zetten op de kamer. Geen lift, maar dat was voor ons geen probleem. Eten in het restaurant beneden is erg prijzig. Op de markt doe je dat voor veel goedkoper. Top locatie, als je van drukte houd.

sehr schönes kleines Hotel. die nähe zum Strand ist unübertroffen, vom Zimmer bis ins Wasser keine 2 Minuten. Das essen im Restaurant ist Europäisch und Thailändisch. es gibt viele kleine Geschäfte in der nähe. Von mir bekommt das Hotel die höhste Punktzahl

Dejligt prisværdigt hotel lige ved stranden !
Det er et udmærket hotel til prisen. Servicen er på top, venlige og smilende og meget hjælpsom personale over det hele. Godt værelse med safe og køleskab , og en stor balkon med havemøbler til to personer. Meget lækkert at kunne sidde der. Hotellets restaurant er udmærket og spisekortet byder på både thaimad og europæisk mad.Der en underholdning visse dage om ugen i restauranten. Der er rigelige shoppingmuligheder om dagen også på nightmarket on aftenen. Der går små "busser" lige udenfor døren til Pattaya som man "vifter ind" og det koster 10 bath at køre med(2.50 dkr), man betaler når man står af.Godt at hvide hvis man vil storshoppe i Central shoppingcenter i Pattaya. Man kan booke ture til de nærliggende øer i receptionen. Kan varmt anbefales .
