![This is one among the famous beaches in Sri Lanka. Water is crystal clear through-out the year except in monsoon months. There are several star hotels along the coast where you can spend your holidays fruitfully. According to me, "Malu Malu" is the best accommodation though it is quite expensive. 

Sun bathing or hiding yourself under a Palmyra tree are very exiting ways of relaxing in this amazing beach. And also you can take a guided boat tour according to your interest. Probably, you can see lots of corals and variety of colourful fish while riding the boat. "Warm, friendly staff - this hotel had a beautifully designed main building where we enjoyed al fresco eating from the varied and superbly cooked/arranged buffet. After dinner we enjoyed the ping pong and pool table which helped entertain our family. The swimming pool was sublime. The gardens, pathways and trees leading down to the beach were well kept and helped support a relaxing atmosphere. The bedrooms had everything we needed as well as incredibly comfortable beds - quiet, with the added bonus of a balcony. We loved our family holiday! The only thing we thought needed improving was the bar. It was not a relaxing place to sit and had uncomfortable chairs. If there had been a place to chill out comfortably with ambient music where we could purchase drinks and icecream - that would have been ideal. Hopefully, this could be incorporated into the rebuild of the beach bar. "

"We loved Passi Villas- it’s very quiet, pool was great and food was great. We had half board with fresh pastries fruit and eggs for breakfast and for dinner a 3-4 course meal- I had the fish every night which was different daily The management leave you alone and you have the manager’s phone number if you need anything urgently. In the morning I would talk to the chef about what we would like for dinner- so very personal service. If you don’t like peace and quiet then you won’t like this place- I think good for family. Beach a bit of coral but walk about 50m and beautiful We will come back next year and bring our whole family "

"The staff was very friendly and the yoga session conducted for us in the morning is very good. The yoga instructor makes a real effort to help us learn yoga. Food was nice and the rooms were clean. Overall, it is a great place to relax and spend a weekend. I would definitely return to this hotel again. "
