My stay was wonderful but the property doesn’t respond If you have concerns. I emailed them 3 months ago before my trip started and they didn’t respond. Now I have a new concern and again no response from them. I checked out yesterday and don’t have any charges pending. Today I checked my credit card and they put a new pending charge for $190 Canadian. How am I suppose to sort this if they won’t respond. Not the kind of service I expect from the Sofitel brand. Please put someone in charge who caters to customer concerns.

I have not received this quality of service in a LONG time! I do not exaggerate in the least when I say that EVERY SINGLE ONE of the employees I interacted with from the moment my taxi driver parked in front of the place to when I closed the door of the ride at the end of my stay had been PHENOMENAL! It EASILY beat the (albeit excellent) services I received at the Four Seasons or the Ritz-Carlson back in the US. No place is perfect, but what was truly special about this hotel was that staff GENUINELY seemed to love being there! Even those who were not interacting with me. The building is gorgeous and will be of interest to anyone interested in architecture. It felt like we had transcended time and experienced the uniqueness of old luxury described in books (while still getting great wifi and other modern necessities). Needless to say, I will make this place the one I check out first when I return to this beautiful country.

I'm thrilled to share that my stay at this historic hotel was absolutely worth the splurge. The experience was one for the books! Each corner of the hotel told a story, enhancing the charm and creating a unique backdrop for my entire visit. The dining options were spectacular too, offering a variety of dishes that were as delightful as the service. The location in Casco Antiguo couldn't be better for anyone eager to explore. It's super walkable, so I could easily check out more fantastic eateries and historical spots nearby. This hotel is a gem for anyone looking to dodge the typical city noise and dive into a place with a vibrant history and peaceful vibes. From the stunning architecture to the proximity to key attractions and the standout service, this place delivers a full package that truly justifies the price.

Excellent property!! The Legends is a beatuiful hotel with the best view in town and easily walkable to various rooftop bars and resturants in the area...not to mention its surrounded by history. The property is maintained immaculately! The Butler team came with my reservation and they were awsome! Ready and willing to help me anytime I needed and took care of any requests we had promptly. We loved the breakfast wvery morning, along woth other bars and the rooftop bar. Will be back again for sure!

Wow, what a great experience. Loved every second. The hotel is new and feels luxurious in every way. Rooms are beautiful, well designed and amazing products. The pool is beautiful and there was always space for all the guests. Only one criticism was that service was often slow. Otherwise had an exceptional stay.

Our stay at Sofitel Legend Casco Viejo was fabulous. We got an upgrade upon arrival. The breakfast is amazing. All staff is very professional. The hotel amenities are great. It was very relaxing and so sophisticated for a reasonable price. Will definitely go back.

Very expensive hotel for what it is! Very good location. I han to wait 30 min for my room to be ready and it was 4pm! It is a beautiful building but the hotel is just ok.

We had a great stay at the Sofitel Legand Casco Viejo. The hotel is beautiful and in an excellent location. It is very walkable to many great restaurants. That staff are all so helpful, friendly and accommodating. Only two small downsides to our trip. We arrived after check in time and our room was not available. We waited about an hour before being assigned a room. Second small downside we booked a shuttle through the concierge for our return to the airport and there must have been a miscommunication as not shuttle arrived. The issue was delt with promptly once it was brought to the attending of staff. These small things did not affect our enjoyment of our stay. I would highly recommend this hotel to family and friend and would return again in the future.

I stayed here on two occasions in the past month for a total of 9 nights. The rooms and hotel are nice and clean. Most of the staff are executing their jobs brilliantly. The exception is the food services of both the room service and the evening dining. Twice the room service food was sent back for being uncooked or just plain awful. I did not reorder again during my visit. The dining room food on my first stay was unacceptable. The management did make an effort to correct this by sending some wine and a cheese plate to my room. This was appreciated. I did not try the dining room again. Management reaction to the room service issue was unacceptable and confrontational. Something quite odd as I was only trying to help them see the issue clearly. I did not eat this room service food and instead brought it to the front desk so they could see it for themselves. Management needs to do a complete review of food service standards for a premium brand hotel. As a regular client of the Dorchester Group, and having lived at other luxury properties around the world, I have seen much better food service execution and more professional complaint resolution of any in room dining issues. The pool service and lobby bar service standards are excellent in comparison. A special shout out to Ricardo, the lobby bar head bartender. He is exceptional and a perfectionist. A gem of a person. From the moment you pull up outside the property youre greated with smiles and professionalism. Front desk, pool and general service is amazing. Room was beautiful and i had a gorgeous view of the skyline. Minutes away from many great restaurants
