Ghosted Us

The owner never responded to any messages or sent directions on how to check in. Days in advance we tried to get directions and responses from the property manager on email, phone, text, email, and even instagram. We ended up never hearing from the manager, even after Vrbo tried to reach them. Ultimately Vrbo had to cancel to reservation and fully refund us. Mind you we were in Palermo with no place to stay. Fortunately a great place opened up nearby and we got housing for our trip.I would not book with this person ever! If you do, you assume massive risk of not having a plce to stay. At minimum ensure you have a backup plan if you dont hear from them 3 days before like they are supposed to do.
