Perfect location
Big and comfortable room, big bathroom, wardrobe,, big mirror, fridge, AC. Only the hairdryer was not good but they lent me a good one. Breakfast very good (fruits, eggs, yogurt, breads, croissants, cakes, cereal, etc). The hotel is very near to restaurants and ferry boat. You can go walking 5 min or so. Also is a good alternative to go to La Madalena spend a day. Also It’s 30-40 min by car to Olbia. Many boat tours towards La Madalena start in Palau. So could be a good choice stay in Palau and get the ferry or tour to Madalena. Thomazzo and Ciara who work at the reception are very kind. I had a good time and highly recommend.

We loved our stay at Hotel Piccada. It is conveniently located near the port (5 min walk),with plenty of options to dine out. The staff is amazing and provided us with awesome recommendations. The room was comfortable and clean. The breakfast offers lots of choices, even gluten free items. Parking in the area was a bit of a challenge, but the hotel staff was prompt to suggest options. We always managed to find some parking nearby or on the hotel property. Overall our stay was very pleasant.

Homey hotel
The employees were very sweet and helpful. Tomaso especially went above and beyond to make sure we had a great stay. The free breakfast is amazing :))

Really good positioned hotel,near city centre, really nice staff. Nice room,furniture a bit old but in good condition. Really clean. A real good deal.

Nice hotel within walking distance of the beach and all the bars, restaurants and shops in Palau. The breakfast was good but because of Covid, you had to be served everything by a member of staff which was a bit awkward when they didn't understand our pigeon Italian!

The hotel was in a great location for a quick stop in Palau before and after a boat tour of the archipelago. A quick walk to the ports and small town. The lady at reception and all of the staff around were very pleasant.

Friendly family run hotel
Wonderful stay, everyone who worked there was really friendly. Nice lobby to hang out with friends. Excellent breakfast! Parking is tight but available on site. Rooms basic but definitely clean!

Good location at walking distance of everything, parking slots for the car. Staff nice and helpful. We had the room with balcony (quite big) and view on the city / harbour / sea (quite nice). Mattress not that comfy, the kind that waves whenever your partner moves (even a little bit). Breakfast good, many different things available. Good price for value.

Loved this hotel. It is a short walk the port and downtown Palau. Friendly staff and yummy breakfast. The room we stayed in had an amazing view and was very spacious.

We sttayed in a balcony room, which was very spacious with good air conditioning and a refrigerator. The front desk service was great. The room had lots of space and shelving for luggage and included a drying rack for towels and bathing suit and a couch and table and chairs. We liked the location and Pula.

The hotel is badly in need of updating
We stayed for 10 nights in mid September. The hotel was still fairly busy. Our first impression of the hotel was that the publicity photos had been taken a long time ago. The room was basic. We had paid for a seaview which we got. Unfortunately there was a very strong and unpleasant smell of drains emanating from the bathroom. The cleaner regularly combatted this with bleach but the smell returned by the evening. The overall standard of cleanliness in the room was acceptable and towels and sheets were changed regularly. We tried to buy a drink at the bar one evening but without success as the male receptionist would not serve us. We are unsure why as the female receptionist the night before was happy to do so. The breakfast was adequate with a reasonable choice of food available. Overall we were left with a feeling of disappointment and felt that the hotel was not up to the standard we had hoped for.

Nice hotel near centre of Palau
We stayed here for nine nights during a period of extreme heat. The air conditioning was excellent and kept the room at a very comfortable temperature. The hotel is three minutes walk away from the centre of Palau and so was lovely and quiet at night. The hotel staff were very friendly and helpful and appreciated our attempts at speaking Italian. There are a couple of small beaches around Palau -one is a blue flag beach. We were fortunate enough to have friends with a boat who took us to many of the archipelago'sbeaches. La Madalena is a short ferry ride away and buses will get you to Olbia airport and St Theresa.

Lovely hotel and kind staff. Well positioned in the centre of Palau , it has a convenient free parking on site which it is very god considering the dear price in Palau. Just few minutes away from restaurant I had an amazing birthday and thank you to all the staff who accommodate my request for a room with the view and on the top floor and to make my birthday a memorable day. The view was amazing and the room although a bit dated was very spacious and clean.Definitely the best in Palau Thank you Piccada

Great staff, solid location, balcony imperative!
Overall a very nice stay. Location is excellent, short walk to town and the port. View is amazing from the sea view rooms, I would ensure you get a balcony because the sea view without terrace is somewhat claustrophobic. (We booked only a view, but the hotel staff was helpful in changing to a terraceand the up-charge was minimal.) The fridge is quite weak and doesn't cool things quickly, and there's no freezer. However the staff graciously allowed us to freeze our ice cube trays in their restaurant freezer every day. It was excellent service above and beyond. The staff was all very very friendly and kind to us. Breakfast was good with enough options to do something different each day and the espresso machines made very good coffees. Wifi was strong and reliable in-room and throughout the hotel.

Very good location. Palau is cute, charming and there's lots to do. The room is spacious with a small kitchenette and fridge. Bed is not very comfortable but doesn't the trick. Family run and very helpful staff.

Nice hotel near the centre of Palau.
We stayed here for a week here in August whilst visiting friends who have a holiday home in PalauThe room was very comfortable. The staff were very friendly. The hotel is three star and so is very comfortable and pleasing. Our room was a good size and very quiet. There was a fridge in the room and a fairly wide range of things to eat for breakfast. The room was spotless although the furniture was a bit dated. the shower was powerful, though.

Very comfortable with everything we needed
Comfortable room with good air con, nice bathroom, free wifi, comfortable bed and fridge. Hotel was in a good location only a very short walk from town and port. It had free parking available with no difficulty. Breakfast was a good continental spread. All in all exactly what it promised to be.

Hotel close to port and centre - easy walk in a few mins. Breakfast is sufficient and refreshed frequently. rooms are simple (as per photos) but clean. Free parking. Rooms are on different floors and not a lift to the higher floors (ie-steps only), Not a problem, but specify when booking if you want to be on a lower floor for ease.

At all times the staff were very friendly and were keen to ensure that we had a good stay. The Wi-fi was provided free of charge, not as an extra cost as was advertised. The room was very adequate, and although parking was not easy a space was always found, even when it meant blocking other vehicles in and leaving the keys so that reception staff could move the car. The harbour and the town were only five minutes walk from the hotel, as were numerous bars and restaurants. Would definitely use this hotel on future visits.

a grate hotel and a place for holidays for 2-3days
Very good location. Very close to the port and ferry to la Maddalena. We got the room with very awsome view. whean u rent a cr go to the Costa Paradiso (around 30-45min west) Then ask about how to get to the beaoet to the west). we have visit a lot but tke Costa Paradiso beach was awsome!!! la Maddalena has very nice the old city (very small). The rest of the island is very dissapoiting..many privet places without access. be aware hwen you try to buy ferry ticket, they wiil try to rip you off...

A basic hotel, no balcony, very basic breakfast. 3 star hotel and it seemed like it (though lower end), TV had no English speaking channels which wouldn't normally bother me but we had one day of torrential rain and storms and couldn't leave the room. Good point, nice large room, though quite old fashion.

Great view
This is an old, quaint hotel. It really is lovely for getting more of a taste of the island and a wonderful location for getting anywhere. We walked all over the port area and grabbed a ferrt to La Madalena, where my husband had been stationed years ago. We had just a beautiful view of the Mediterranean and a much too short visit.
