"Fantastic hotel Nice room - great pool , decent breakfast and extremely nice staff Location very good - turn left when out hotel and about 15 yards is cheapest supermarket/ well stocked we found. Turn right and plethora of cheap restaurants- about 20 minute walk to night market - but straight road and flat so easily doable - also a free shuttle from hotel at certain times plus cheap for tuk tuk- thoroughly enjoyed Luang Prabang , and would thoroughly recommend this hotel for a stay"

"Very central Location and super helpful manager (Thom). My room was very large, cleaned daily and also quite dark. Be aware that the shower and toilet are all one space -sort of like camper-style. Breakfast is good with several choices. I would stay here again to be close to everything but still have the quiet."

"I recently had a fantastic stay at this hotel, and I can't recommend it enough! From the moment I arrived, I was impressed with the warm and welcoming atmosphere. The highlight of my mornings was definitely the breakfast, it was absolutely delicious! In addition to the breakfast, the food from the hotel restaurant was really good because they actually have traditional food. My room was another highlight of my stay. The bed was incredibly comfortable, and I loved the quality of the sheets; I felt well-rested and relaxed throughout my visit. This hotel exceeded my expectations in every way, and I look forward to returning in the future!"

"have had the great fortune of being a guest at Rosewood on numerous occasions, and each visit reminds me why I always look forward to returning. This most recent stay was for three nights, and once again, the experience was exceptional. I could easily make a lengthy list of reasons why Rosewood continues to stand out, but for me, it always comes back to two things: the architectural richness of the property, and above all, the extraordinary hospitality of the people who bring it to life. The Rosewood team has a rare ability to make you feel not simply accommodated, but genuinely cared for. Every detail feels intentional, every interaction thoughtful, and every moment quietly refined. There is a sense that the entire team is there with one purpose — to enrich your visit in a way that feels effortless, gracious, and deeply personal. The property itself offers everything a traveler could hope for when seeking serenity in the heart of nature. Surrounded by a canopy of lush trees, natural gardens, and the peaceful sound of a tranquil stream running through the property, Rosewood creates a sanctuary that feels both elegant and restorative. I am already excited to return again next year. My sincere thanks to the entire Rosewood team, and to the remarkable General Manager, Mr. Jonathan, whose leadership is clearly reflected in every aspect of the guest experience. "I was extremely disappointed with this hotel - we checked out two days early. It is at best a 3 star hotel. Only stay if you get a cheap deal and don’t expect 5 star service or standards. The WiFi doesn’t work we had to use 5G We had to wake up the bar server twice, the first time Christmas songs were played (in March!!) and the second time it was silent and had absolutely no atmosphere. We paid extra for a riverside view to watch sunset, don’t bother - hoards to boats arrive outside the hotel and play Chinese karaoke, loudly - it certainly doesn’t make for a peaceful or romantic setting - I appreciate there is nothing the hotel can do about this. The rooms are very tired. Our flights flickered significantly when we turned on the water. They are also not that clean, there was significant dust on the headboard. There is construction work going on around the hotel that we were not told about upon booking. The pool is rented out to anyone for $6 inc beers, we didn’t use this but again doesn’t fit with an exclusive 5star feel. The speciality dining restaurant is shut. Staff service is haphazard, we had to have an argument with the ma on the gate who refused to let our taxi into the hotel and made us walk - again all very minor but not 5 star. We tried to check out quietly but was greeted by the Operations manager who wanted my feedback, which I provided, he agreed the hotel was not up to standard and agreed to email me, not unsurprisingly I haven’t received an email. "
