The property is so beautiful with various tropical plants and fruits and a view of the ocean through the trees. It was so relaxing to sit out on the lanai birdwatching and listening to the rain. Good location in between Hilo and Volcano. The rental is clean and comfortable and comes complete with a book that Carla and Hisham made full of their personal activity, food, and sightseeing recommendations. Carla and Hisham were kind and helpful hosts. The rental was clean, well lit, safe, and the lanai had a wonderful view of their land as well as the ocean in the distance. Lots of geckos and birds, and the sound of rain was amazing. The most spectacular drive by the ocean on your way to the rental, I made at least 1 stop a day there, especially when the waves were going off. Close to the Sunday market and Pāhoa without being too close and without the touristy feel.
