Ideal for families or friends sharing, it offers an excellent base for exploring North Cornwall’s glorious coastal landscape. St Merryn, just a mile away, has shops, restaurants and pubs, including the Cornish Arms, owned by Rick Stein, while picturesque Padstow and its many attractions is within 3 miles.
The spacious property is light, airy and beautifully furnished throughout. On the ground floor are two splendid king-size bedrooms, each with an impressive en-suite and there is a separate shower room. An American-style fridge/freezer is a feature of the sleek contemporary kitchen, while the elegant dining area overlooks the rear garden. Upstairs, the roomy lounge has a delightful hideaway feel, with comfortable seating and countryside views. This floor also houses a pretty twin bedroom. Outside, an enclosed rear garden has a lawn and a patio with patio furniture, dog shower, storage shed and a BBQ.
A cluster of beautiful beaches, including dog-friendly Constantine Bay, Harlyn Bay (both 1.5 miles), and Treyarnon Bay (2 miles) are within easy reach. There is something for all ages to enjoy on these golden sands, whether swimming, exploring rock pools, walking your pet, or learning how to ride the waves at the beach-based surf schools. Nearby St Merryn Park has a tennis courts and a bar serving meals, while Padstow is renowned for its seafood restaurants. Visit the colourful quayside of this historic fishing harbour for a wildlife safari boat trip in search of seals and dolphins. While in Padstow, visit Prideaux Place, a fine Elizabethan manor house.
