We live land-locked, so we loved hearing and seeing (but not sometimes smelling) the ocean all the time. We were there for a week during the "summer" (Sept-Oct) so the weather was beautiful! Our visit coincided with "Fog Fest", which had very little fog! We especially enjoyed walking to the beaches south of Sharp's Beach. The apartment was very well-equipped and comfortable. The property was well stocked and the welcome gifts were so thoughtful. Our only “complaint” was we didn’t think about where to charge our bikes until we got there. Nice welcome touch!Watching the big waves was wonderful. The access to the walking path is across the street and the hiking in the hills was easy to access and the views were great. The location is so close, that access to San Francisco is easy. The kitchen was well stocked, with coffee beans and a grinder. There were many shops and restaurants within walking distance and a walk way along the ocean front. The pier is also right there which was always busy with people fishing and walking.
