"Two very bad things, and other pretty bad things. 1. There is a different menu for Westerners. We noticed other guests were eating meals that were not on our menu, and the next day for breakfast the same thing happened - we were given a Western breakfast (no menu, no order taken, just given), and the other guests had a Thai breakfast. I then found the Thai menu, and discovered that it was a book, with more than triple the number of meal options. Once asked about this (using a translation app)...

"This a really spacious, quiet, well- maintained property ouside of Chiang Mai, surrounded by a beautiful golf course. Away from the main roads and traffic, with clean air to breath. The room was clean and well- furnished, with a quiet balcony area. The pool area was quiet, clean, and relaxing. The breakfast and restaurant had good food and service, and the staff are friendly and attentive. I was looking for a relaxing, quiet location away from the car exhaust fumes, noise and chaotic energy of the city, and this was a great choice! I wouldn't hesitate to stay here again. "
