Stroll through the historic town square where Faulkner's ghost still haunts bookstore shelves at Square Books. Catch an Ole Miss football game in autumn, then sample Southern cooking and live blues at local restaurants along Lamar Boulevard.

Gorgeous, comfortable lobby and large room in a super-convenient location. Excellent service by front desk but some miscommunication on the VIP coupon and service with attitude in the 4th floor bar.

The uniqueness of the stay! The house was built in 1870 so it has the 9 ft high doors and tall ornate baseboards. The master bedroom where we stayed had a wonderfully comfortable king bed and remodeled large bathroom. Best of all was Von and the wonderful breakfast she presented in the gorgeously set formal dining room. It was a fun stay. I wish I could include a picture of the breakfast but I don’t see a way to do it.
