The reason for the bad review here is that this hotel follows the scammy practice of "resort fees". These were shown on the hotel.com booking, but it's still a bad bractice. Whatever day rate you see, add $39 resort fee *per night*. It's a really scammy practice of bringing down their day rate without actually doing that. For this reason, my review will be poor.
I don't even get what the resort fee is for. They have a pool, big whup, so do all hotels and they don't all charge for it. They put chairs and towels on the beach. Again, not worth $39 a day. What gets me even more is that we checked in late on the first day, 8pm. So all the "resort" features are gone by that time, but still charged.
They only have one non-ev charger, which always has a queue and is being used. There aren't enough loungers on the pool, and the ones that are there are occupied by 8am.
The location is excellent, and the hotel itself is nice, expensive but nice.
All in all, I was looking for a romantic luxury weekend with my wife, but I had a mediocre hotel stay with a sting in the tail when the bill came
